I love weirdcest bro. I love it even more when Sam and Dean are just oblivious to it. Bobby catches them just holding hands while they watch TV and just sort of stares. They notice him there, but their fingers don't separate. It doesn't feel weird or wrong or bad because Sam got hurt, and holding hands is just convenient because it means Dean can keep checking his pulse, because he needs to. It's the only thing that settles him down.
Or when Mary returns, and is living with them in the bunker. She watches Dean cook dinner. Sam's sat at the breakfast bar watching with what she could only describe as adoration in his eyes, a soft smile on his lips. It feels off, but she scolds herself. Tells herself it's a good thing that her boys care for each other so much. But then Dean leans over with a spoon, guiding it to Sam's mouth with that same sort of fondness, and her uneasiness grows until she leaves the room and waits to be called in for dinner.
Or when John walks into the motel room late one evening. One of the three beds in empty, and his eyes land on his boys sharing a bed. Dean's got his arms curled around Sam in an almost protective manner, and Sam is curled up against his chest. Sam's seventeen, Dean is twenty two. John figures the embarrassing position was unintentional. Convinces himself of the fact so clearly that he snaps a photo on his phone to use as blackmail, before 'accidently' kicking the bed and jolting the pair awake. Dean's arm remains around Sam while the brunette blinks blearily, and his oldest starts reaching for his gun.
"Just me, sorry guys. Knocked into the bed. Probably a good thing," he joked, gesturing to them.
Sam looked confused and tired, remaining slumped against his brother. Dean looked pissed. He hadn't moved the arm situated around Sam's waist, and John can't stop fixating on it.
"Just go to bed, dad," Dean sighed, lying down as the adrenaline left him. He brought Sam down with him, who went easily, returning his head the Dean's chest.
"...right," John muttered, heading to the bathroom.
He deleted the photo, and resisted the urge to burn the phone completely.

I was the anon that sent this ask a couple of years ago to @the-analytical-bostie (I would send screenshots of the posts, but canât due to wanting to stay anonymous so hereâs the link):
I shared my own experience with Misha because I felt like I had no one to talk to. I donât have many irl friends that are fans or have even watch the show. And the friends Iâve made online through the fanfiction community, well I havenât felt like Iâve been able to share my feelings because most people love him.
I still have really bad anxiety over my experience and still feel really embarrassed over the whole thing. I can 100% say I believe all the people that have had bad experiences with him. Iâve never met Jared or Jensen. But after meeting Misha my whole perspective changed on wanting to ever meet an actor I admire ever again. The only one Iâd like to meet now is probably Jared because Iâve only heard good things about him from other fans.
Anyway, Iâm still so grateful that I got to confide in @the-analytical-bostie privately afterwards. I have a new tumblr @ now so Idk if I can still message them to say thank you. But I remember how nice It was/still is knowing that some people can actually see through the façade.
Like I said the experience still haunts and itâs been a few years lol. Ngl Iâm tearing up thinking about the whole thing.
I guess the reason why Iâm adding to this whole thing is so other fans think before they meet actors of the characters they love. Just because actors like Misha project this happy and nice persona online, doesnât mean thatâs actually what theyâre like.
I hope no fan experiences what I did and I really hope I never ever meet him again.

âIATSE is the union that [represents] crews. A couple years ago, they were in contract negotiations. Because of injuries & deaths, they were SPECIFICALLY focused on long hours being a safety issue. What the union wanted (and still needs to get) was 12-hrs on/12-off. You might think this sounds crazy because of how normalized extremely long hours are on set (often 16-18hrs), but they had [12-hrs on/12-off] up until '89 -- with double-time pay for overages.
During COVID, the entertainment unions were able to get 10-hour limits on sets due by arguing the immune responses of being overworked. AMPTP (obvs) did NOT want these [hours] normalized. What does this have to do with Walker? IATSE leaders were left fighting hard to even negotiate 14-hours-on/10-off. AMPTP argued: "No, that's impossible!"
Here's the problem. Walker was already doing [less than] this. Successfully. Without needing to add a whole bunch of extra days to the schedule. So, during negotiations, IATSE finds out this proof of concept exists and starts asking [Walkerâs crew] questions about [how itâs done]. This means they could use [Walker] as leverage at the table. [What was considered] impossible was suddenly possible.
So, IN PART because Walker cared enough to make this happen, to give their set a work-life balance, to make it Disneyland so people can see their kids/go to doctors' appointments/not be a danger on the road, IATSE had [Walker] in their back pocket to negotiate [for 14-hours-on/10-hours-off work days] (with some caveats).â

I brought this up a while ago but couldnât remember the source. I just came across it again today, unfortunately cause of antiâs trying to smear Jaredâs reputation in the industry again. Everything is confirmed by Walkerâs script coordinator btw, in the podcast episode thatâs linked in the tweet (timestamp 52:45). He even said they would sometimes work as low as 8 hours.
Yeah, I do love how they're so threatened by him they have to try to smear his reputation. Unfortunately for them, it won't do anything, as it's right there in black and white how the Walker set was run. And anyone with two brains knows when something is planted without anything to back it up.

i am soooooo obsessed with normal!AU samdean it's kind of crazy. i really wanted to write one for wayward sons this year, but i couldn't justify it, haha! i've been slowly nurturing a normal!AU that i don't have the bandwidth or time to write, but here's the first few lines:
Sam Winchester dies at age ten.
He doesnât stay dead, mind you, but he does die.
For six minutes and thirteen seconds, Dean Winchester is an only child. He screams the entire time.

(btw at pub trivia, i correctly said that "around the world" by daft punk came out in summer 1997 and my friends were so confused and surprised, but i couldn't say it's because i was researching songs that would reasonably be played at a halloween party in 1998, lol!)
