new album this summer

hyperpop is a complex genre. it draws from diverse stylistic origins. one of my favorites is furry breakcore. that genre had its hayday around 2013, and while it's still around, i feel like it's become stuck in its ways, and been eclipsed by fresher sounds. unfortunately, due to the extreme emphasis on sampling pop music, copyright has taken its cut from breakcore. a lot of the greatest works in the genre have been removed from all major platforms, or they were never posted outside of bandcamp and soundcloud. some of those albums are gone forever. if you weren't there, i'm sorry. i wish you could've heard the music. this EP, like much of my work, is a tribute to those artists who pioneered breakcore, and the ones who continue to believe in it.
