It's Valentine's so I drew the Goddess whose blessings embraces this day

Anyways, my first work of this year goes to celebrate none other than the absolute spectacle The Lake House DLC. May they all see our true colors.

Picking up from the last illus, I made another one depicting Marshall's fight. Honestly Marshall herself didn't carry as much terror as Hartman Yoga version, but this fight is SUCH an absolute chaotic battlefield experience it's defo one of my top favorites. Anyways, better late than never, happy 5th birthday to Control, the starter drug that got me hooked to Remedy's crazy world. Can't wait for Control 2.

***TW: BLOOD*** My very first complete-ish watercolor illustration. It's a big milestone for me so the person for the occassion must be something special. And I picked Eileen! When I first saw her in Bloodborne I had a stroke because crows are my favorite animal and I love plague doctors. What kept me around is her absolutely phenomenal questline though. Through this, I hope to express the one-and-only brand of mercy Eileen had- granting one a respectable rest in spite of their beastly transformation.

Mergo's Wet Nurse Made her a bit more colorful than intended but hey, girly looks like the type that will put on her best fit to kill you.

It's been so long since I touched colored pencils, but man don't they feel great.

My take on Hollow Knight x Pokemon as someone who dabbled in Competitive Pokemon for fun. For the MC, it HAS to be ghost type. I picked Honedge since it's also inside a vessel (sword), gets stronger through a rock (Dusk stone Evolution) and has a variety of slashing move for your sword needs. For Quirrel, I knew instantly that 2 things are a must: SPEED and the ability "Sharpness". So Hisuian Samurott is my pick here, despite the visuals not being a complete match, it has the ability and adequate speed. For Hornet, I thought that as she's the most adept fighter in the 3, she will prefer something with more ultility, in line with her supposed tool-based playstyle in Silksong. Talonflame, having impressive offensive prowess and insane ultility came to mind.

I'm dedicating my final artwork of 2023 to Alan Wake 2. What a phenomenal experience, made by those who won't give up, telling the stories of 2 individuals who also just won't give up. Hopefully I can have a part of that spirit next year.
