For the last couple of months I've been developing a story (two actually hahah) about new generation of Hogwarts students. It's a mix of my oc's and the kids from the Harry Potter canon. I'm really excited about the whole thing because I love world-building and working on all the details of school life at Hogwarts (how it changed after the war etc.) has brought me a lot of joy.
I'm writing this post because I feel like I need to get out here more (I love tumblr!) and because I'd love to know what you guys think about this idea and if you'd read something like that.
There's mystery solving at Hogwarts, there's slow-burn, there's friendship, and even some ancient magic and angst. Oh, and a looooot of cousins. Honestly, you turn a corner and oh, there's another Weasley.
If you want, I could post some sneak-peaks of the characters, some more about the story or maybe stuff I developed about Hogwarts in the 2010s. Oh, right, the story is taking place in 2018/19. Let me know!

watching twin peaks is hard because sometimes you think 'these characters could use some therapy'. and then you remember that some of them did seek out professional help but their only option was this
Hiya! I started rereading ATYD this week and a concept of Remus’s twin sister has sprouted in my mind and I had to draw her. It’s just a quick sketch- I wanted to get it out of my system hahah.
She has short hair bcs some girls in the children’s home cut it off and Matron had to salvage what was left. She totally rocks it tho ;))
Anyways, let me present to you, Miss Rhiannon Lupin.

Hi loves! Yesterday I read chapter 99 of Tcoptp and I thought I’d make Pete’s poster come to life:)) Let me know if you like it and how y’all imagined it!
Oh and thanks to @motswolo for writing the best fanfic in the universe <33
First version is normal, then the UV light and the last one is a flyer.
a/n: Hii loves! Finally I managed to find time to write part 3. If you haven’t read previous ones, here’s Part 1 and Part 2. Life’s been a bit of a chaos lately, but I hope I’ll be able to write the next part soon :)) Let me know what you think about this one. Also, do you prefer shorter parts like these (~1.2k words) or should I write next ones longer? xoxo

The next day was a sunny one. Sunshine filtering through browning leaves was making a simple walk to class feel like entering a watercolor postcard from one of the gift shops.
Maybe the romantic side of Sirius would have appreciated the scenery on the way to his Ethics lecture, but today his mind was elsewhere. For Sirius Black was nothing if not obsessive. If he set his mind on something and had enough luck (or persistence) for things to start developing the way he wanted to- there was no force on this planet that could stop him.
He spent half the night tossing and turning in bed while his brain came up with new scenarios of approaching and talking to Artis Potter. That made him pretty groggy and so he spent a full hour and a half of his lesson tucked in the last row of the auditorium trying not to fall asleep. After he was done with that agonising part of his day, he set out to trudge through the campus for lunch. His decision to skip the rest of his classes was a swift one, especially upon realizing what a pretty day it was.
Just as he was about to turn a corner near Clarendon Building, he spotted a familiar figure in a tan leather jacket and a newsboy hat. She was walking briskly across the street and if Sirius wasn’t acting fast his chance would disappear again. So he moved.
“Oi!” He exclaimed crossing the street and jogging up after her, when that didn’t get her attention he quickened his pace and tried again. “Hey!... um, Artis?”
The girl turned around barely stopping. Her eyes flickered over his face before a bright grin split her face. “Pretty stranger!” she beamed.
Sirius couldn’t stop his mouth from mimicking her smile, but he felt warmth creeping up his neck at the nickname. “You’ve got a minute?” he asked, falling into step beside her.
To that she raised her wrist glancing at a small golden watch. “Am already late,” she tsked, “But you’re welcome to walk with me, if you want.”
Sirius smiled in response, suddenly feeling quite small. “Where are you heading?” He asked after finally finding his voice again.
“Ruskin School. My friend’s waiting for me there.”
He nodded. “I’m Sirius, by the way,” he extended his hand. She stopped abruptly, startling him slightly and almost making him trip.
“No.” she said, looking at him with wide dark eyes. “I don't believe you, you’re taking a piss.” she shook her head, furrowing her brows.
Sirius grimaced a little dumbfounded “What d’you mean? That’s my name.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
Artis studied him for a moment trying to gauge if he’s telling the truth. He was just about to open his mouth to maybe somehow defend his eccentric, if not unfortunate name, when her face was once again lit up by that dashing smile.
“Ha! Finally!” she exclaimed triumphantly, resuming her walk, “Now I know someone with a name more ridiculous than mine.”
Sirius couldn’t stop himself from huffing a small laugh and following after her. “Oh, c’mon, Artis’s not that bad.” that earned him a deadpan look.
“My mum came up with it.” she explained, tucking a strand of her behind her ear. “I mean, when I researched it once, I found out it’s a Celtic boy name. Means ‘bear’ or something like that.” she shrugged. “But my mum’s an art conservator and ‘artis’ means ‘arts’ in latin, so I suppose that’s where she’s got it from. Thank god, she settled for plural, I wouldn’t want to be an ‘ars’.” She chuckled, and they turned a corner. He chuckled as well, finding himself unable to formulate any coherent thought as he hung onto her every word.
“How d’you know my name anyways?” She tilted her head.
He blinked, “Oh, erm, Remus.” he blurted out.
Artis’s lips parted in recognition “Ahh, the tall bloke? I have classics lectures with him, yeah? He’s your friend?”
“Mhm, yeah” Sirius nodded “We’re roommates.”
“Oh, cool. Which college?” she asked, looking at him as they squeezed through a group of freshers.
“Teddy Hall”
“Oh, brilliant” she smiled, “I’m at Queen’s. We’re neighbours, then.”
“Yeah…” he reciprocated with a grin and ran a hand through his hair. Sirius felt thankful for how talkative she was, making the conversation flow smoothly. At the same time he couldn’t help but feel slightly irritated at himself for his sudden shyness around her.
“What do you study?”
“PPE” he replied, “It’s philosophy, politi-”
“Oh yeah, yeah, I know. My roommate is on that course as well.” She smiled. “I’m in law,” she sighed softly, giving him a side eye that he wasn’t entirely sure how to read.
He gave a low whistle. “Bloody hell, why?”
“Eh, don’t ask. My dad’s got a firm, bright future, blah blah blah.” she rolled her eyes, making him chuckle. “Gosh, enough about me. Where’re you from?”
“London.”
“Posh boy?” she smirked
“Erm…” he rubbed his neck trying to come up with a good response to that. That only made her grin wider.
“Don’t worry, I’m only teasing.” Artis bumped her shoulder into his. “I’m from London, too. Hampstead.”
”Holland Park.” He replied a little reluctantly. In response she just smirked.
They were walking along the side of the University College now, the high sun making her jet black hair shimmer. Sirius found himself happy that he could be around her. She turned to him as they neared the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art.
“What music d’you like, Sirius?”
“Good.” he smirked
She tsked, shaking her head with a smile. “Alright, cheeky. Top three?”
Sirius thought for a moment, suddenly feeling giddy at a mention of his favorite subject. “Bowie, Led Zepp and Queen.” he finally replied as they came to a stop in front of the old building. The look she rewarded him with made his heart stutter.
She let out an exaggerated sigh, looking up theatrically before flashing him her golden smile. “So it’s settled, then. We can be friends.”
He huffed a small laugh, running a hand through his hair and shifting his weight from one foot to the other.
“Me and my friends are going to a pub this Friday.” she said, standing on the first step. “You should come. Oh, and take Remus with you too.”
“Friday? Yeah, alright.” he nodded immediately, still a little dazed by her.
Artis glanced at her watch and scrunched her nose. “Oh, Cassie’ll be so mad. Gotta go, see you later.” She gave him a small wave and disappeared behind the ancient wooden door.
Sirius was still standing there after a minute, utterly amazed by the whole interaction, when she ran back out and pushed a small piece of paper into his palm.
“My dorm number. If you ever wanted to find me.” She smirked and vanished again.
He tilted his head back and squinted against the sunny sky. “Fuuuuck…” he exhaled, unable to stop himself from smiling.
a/n: hi loves! Thanks for the notes on the part 1. I appreciate it <33. If you haven't read it here's the link. Let me know what you think. Oh, and if you also have some tips on posting on here and stuff. I'm still getting the hang of it. xoxo

Remus Lupin did not have an easy life being Sirius’s roommate. A moment of peace? Yeah, never heard of that.
Now he was trying to read whatever he managed to write down and hoped he’d be able to call it an essay. Unfortunately there was a very annoying black-haired bastard babbling into his ear about the most amazing girl he had ever met.
“For the love of God, will you ever shut up?” Remus groaned, his patience wearing thin. “You’ve been rambling about her for hours now. Don’t you have any coursework to do?”
“Pfft.” Sirius rolled his eyes dramatically and fell back onto his bed. “She’s much more interesting than anything Oxford University can offer.”
Remus just scoffed and turned back to his paper shaking his head. He had known Sirius for over a year now. Always restless, always loud, and always looking for a new distraction to get out of doing what he was actually supposed to. Those distractions were usually just new girls or… well, we don’t talk about that one time. Anyways, no matter how much Remus wanted to huff at his mate for being a chatterbox, something in his tone told him that this girl was not just another pastime.
“Why didn’t you ask for her name?” Remus muttered against his better judgment, when the dorm became quiet for too long and he started feeling guilty for being so harsh.
Sirius sat up and shrugged. “Dunno. She was just… I didn’t think about it.”
Remus raised an eyebrow as he began sharpening his pencil. “I thought half of your pick-up lines start with getting their name.”
Sirius inhaled deeply, staring at the peelings with a thoughtful look that made a small wrinkle between his brows make an appearance. “Not much time for pick-up lines when I was trying to save her from blacking out hunched over the toilet in the most disgusting bathroom I’ve ever seen.”
Remus glanced up, but on his roommate's face instead of the smirk he expected, he found a kind of seriousness mixed with something else- determination, maybe. He almost felt bad for him. Letting out a breath he leaned back in his chair.
“What about that guy she was with?”
Sirius furrowed his brows. “What about him?”
“Well, you’re good with faces. You’ve never seen him before?”
Sirius pondered that question for a moment, his brows going up as he ran a hand through his hair. “Dunno. Maybe?” then after a pause, “Jesus, I hope that was not her boyfriend.”
Remus rubbed under his nose to hide a light chuckle that escaped him. He schooled his expression quickly after Sirius glared at him. “You said she was there with her friends, didn’t mention a boyfriend,” he offered.
“Yeah…” the boy sighed and stood up grabbing his pack of cigarettes from the nightstand. “But… I dunno, maybe she did and I just forgot. Or didn’t hear.” he opened the window sitting on the sill. “Fuck, she was so cool, Lupin, you don’t understand.” he mumbled around the cigarette.
“I’m sure you’ll find her.” Remus said with a half-smile and sensing an opportunity of silence on account of his roommate’s dramatic sulking, turned back to his essay.
A minute passed.
A pained sigh “She was so-”
“Oh for fuck’s sake!”
***
It went on like that for the next week and Remus was sure he was going to rip all his hair out if that idiot didn’t find out who the bloody mystery girl was. It got to a point where whenever a group of girls would pass them Remus would nudge his roommate and ask if any of them look familiar.
Unfortunately none of them did.
And Sirius couldn’t stop thinking about her. It was so unlike him, honestly. He never got hung up on people like that. It wasn’t that he didn’t care or had never like anyone before. He met plenty of girls and a lot of them were interesting. Well, alright, a fraction. But still. There was something about that girl that just drew him in. It was so ridiculous that he started wondering if maybe he didn’t just accidentally take acid and hallucinate the whole interaction.
Fortunately, Sirius Black was a lucky bastard. At least in some aspects of his life.
He was walking with Remus through the Wellington Square to go get some lunch when his gaze, that was lately constantly instinctively searching, fell onto a group of girls walking up the steps of a building. He stopped dead in his tracks and nudged Remus so hard he coughed up a smoke from his cigarette.
“What the-”
“That’s her…” Sirius’s voice was so uncharacteristically soft that Remus barely heard it over his fit.
“Which one?” Remus asked, clearing his throat and squinting at the girls.
“The one on the right. The black coat.”
Remus tilted his head slightly as he got a good look at them.
Oh.
“I know her.”
Sirius turned so abruptly he almost got a whiplash. “What?!”
Remus nodded and pointed with his chin “The one with the braid, yeah? I have Latin and Ancient History with her.”
A wicked grin split Sirius’s face and he took Remus’s shoulders and shook him.
“This is brilliant, Lupin! Ah!”
“Gerroff, you twat!” He pushed him off and straightened his jacket.
They both looked back across the quad, but the girls were already gone.
“What’s her name?”
Sirius asked, almost breathless, standing still and staring at the building door.
“Artis.”
A grin tugged at the corners of Sirius’s lips. “Artis what?”
“Erm… Potter, I think.” Remus shrugged.
Sirius tilted his head to the side like a dog and pursed his lips slightly.
“Hmph…” he mused and started walking.
Remus shook his head bewildered slightly, nevertheless following his friend.
“That’s it? ‘Hmph’? You’ve been obsessing over her-”
“I heard that name somewhere. I just can’t remember where.” Sirius ignored him as he continued to walk down the street.
“Oh, I reckon she has a brother. Twin, I think. She said something in class once.”
Sirius turned around walking backwards now. “That must’ve been the guy at the party! They did look alike, now that I think about it.”
Remus nodded and took a drag of his cigarette.
“What else did she say?” Sirius fell into step beside his roommate, looking at him expectantly.
Remus shrugged “Dunno, I spoke to her maybe three times in total. And all of them were about school stuff.”
“Argh, Lupin, how many times do I have to tell you? You need to be more open to people. Now you’re useless.” Sirius groaned, shaking head at his friend.
“Cheers” he replied dryly over the cigarette in his lips.
***
For the next two days Sirius was turning the name “Potter” in his head over and over again. He heard it before somewhere, definitely. And he was now sure he saw the guy from the party before. The question was ‘where?’
Sirius Black knew a lot of people. Unfortunately, his roommate couldn’t say the same, therefore he had to really try to think of something to say about Artis, so Sirius would stop pestering him.
“I dunno. She’s late a lot, I guess.” he said, chewing his toast and chasing it with sweet tea. “Not like late-late, but y’know, fashionably or whatever.” he shrugged.
Sirius nodded thoughtfully. “Alright, what else?”
“Can’t I eat my bloody breakfast in peace?”
“No.”
Remus sighed. “She’s quite smart actually. Like in history she really knows what’s going on. Has discussions with the teacher,” he recalled. “And in Latin she usually gets top marks.”
Sirius grinned “Knew she was brilliant.”
Remus turned back to his meal while Sirius scanned the dining hall deep in thought.
Then-
“Mate, mate, mate!”
Remus picked his head up with a sigh and looked in the direction Sirius was pointing to with his chin.
“That’s our guy!”
“Our?” Remus grimaced but Sirius ignored him.
“Oi! James, get me a cuppa, yeah?”
Their gazes traveled to a portly guy sitting at the table by the window. Sirius pressed a hand to his forehead.
“Fucking James Potter! The football team captain. Remember? When we wanted to get to that party last year-”
“You wanted.”
“-I was going to talk to him, but then the Prewetts said we could come.”
Sirius had that enigmatic thoughtful look on his face now- the one that usually (always) meant trouble. Remus sighed again and took a bite of his toast, he knew better than to interrupt the momentary peace with a stupid question.
“It makes sense, y’know…”
Remus grimaced “what?”
In response Sirius just turned to him with the biggest dopey grin he ever saw.
“You worry me, Black.”
His roommate just looked at him all smug and leaned back in his chair.

summary: Sirius Black starts his second year of university being bored at a party. He doesn’t know yet, how much a simple encounter will change his life.
wc: 1.2k
a/n: hi! This is my first time ever posting anything like that so go easy on me hahah. It's just a bit I wrote this afternoon, but I have more of the story in mind. Let me know what you think. Also, this story involves an OC and is not a romantic wolfstar fic. Xoxo
The music was bad and loud, but Sirius already downed enough shots to not care about it much. Nevertheless, he was starting to get bored. The party was one of the big ones, a way to kick off the new semester.
He was standing in the hallway, staring at the brownish mix of liquors in his cup. Every now and then, a person passed by striking up a quick chat or giving him a friendly pat or a wave. He remembered some of the faces, he was always good with that, but most of them were nameless to him. Unfortunately, he was not nameless to them. After all, no matter how vast the student body of Oxford University was, everyone seemed to know who Sirius Black was.
He was starting to regret not pestering Remus more to come with him here. Maybe he wouldn’t have been so bored now. His roommate may not have been the most extroverted person on the planet, but at least they could just go sit somewhere, share a spliff and laugh at the drunken idiots stumbling around.
Sirius’ grey eyes swept over the crowded living room and that was enough for him to make the decision to polish off his drink and leave.
The universe had different plans apparently.
As he turned around, a girl ran into him spilling a bit of her drink on his Ramones shirt.
“Fuck! Shit! Ahh- Sorry!”
She placed the cup on the nearby console table and took a handkerchief out of her jacket. He chuckled.
“It’s fine. Hey, what’s the hurry anyways?”
She looked up at him with the biggest brown eyes he ever saw and frowned, before pressing a hand to her mouth. Oh.
“C’mon.”
He led her to the bathroom where she dipped to her knees on the sticky floor and promptly emptied her stomach in the toilet. Sirius sighed and gathered her hair to hold it back.
“This is so embarrassing…” she mumbled between retching again.
“Eh, ‘ve seen worse.”
Sirius tried to comfort her, but it didn’t really work as she groaned and sunk down, sitting on her calves.
“C’mon, love, up you go.” He helped her up and she stood over the sink washing her mouth.
“I’m so sorry…” she looked at him in the mirror, a face of complete defeat. “This is the lowest point of my life…”
Sirius couldn’t help but grin. “You’re here with someone?”
“Mhm, my friends.” she nodded as they walked out of the bathroom.
“See them anywhere?” Sirius pointed with his chin to the crowd. She barely looked around before shaking her head ‘no’. “Alright then. Wanna get some air?”
He led her out into the manicured garden, now littered with bottles, cups and a few high stargazers. They sat down on a bench where she rested elbows on her knees and hid her face in her hands.
“I’m really sorry. I’m not normally like this. I mean- I never-” she was slurring her words slightly and it seemed like she gave up on talking in the middle of that sentence, resigning to just sigh and shake her head. Sirius couldn’t help but chuckle quietly.
“You’re very kind,” she finally blinked up at him, slurring her words. “Bit pretty, too”
Sirius huffed a laugh. “You’re not so bad yourself, drunk disaster that you are.”
“Oi!” she protested weakly, before leaning back on the bench and looking at the inky sky.
“You do this often?” She asked after a moment, tilting her head to look at him.
He furrowed his brows. “Do what?”
“Help drunk girls at the parties.”
He huffed a laugh at that and properly looked at her for the first time. Her long, dark hair was slightly tousled now and in the dim light he could see the faint flush from the chilly October air on her tan skin. He found himself momentarily at a loss of a witty quip, but she didn’t seem to care, tilting her head back at the sky.
“I’m going to die” she groaned
“You’ll be fine.”
“You sound awfully confident about this.” She raised one brow, but a smirk was tugging at the corner of her plush lips.
“Let’s just say I have some experience in that field.”
“Mmm, you seem like the type.” she huffed a soft laugh.
“Yeah? What type’s that?” he asked, amused.
“Trouble.” She replied, narrowing her eyes at him. There was a certain sharpness in them, despite the absolute state she was in.
He clicked his tongue. “Takes one to know one.”
She chuckled and tipped her head back again. There was a comfortable silence between them, the distant hum of the party audible from the inside of the house. Sirius lazily watched the people getting in and out.
“Thanks for not leaving me to die in that filthy bathroom.” she said softly.
“Don’t mention it.” He smiled. There was something electric about her and Sirius found himself wanting to talk to her forever.
She huffed a small laugh. “I think I have to. Never been more embarrassed in my life.” she smiled a bit sheepishly.
“Nothing to be embarrassed about. You at least had fun tonight?”
“Mmm…” she pondered for a moment, tilting her head slightly, “Yeah. S’nice party.” Then after a moment, “Music’s a bit shit, though.”
“Witch! You read my mind.” he declared dramatically.
She laughed heartily at that and Sirius found himself grinning so wide his cheeks hurt.
“I like you. You’re funny.”
“I aim to please”
“I don’t give compliments easily, y’know.” she pinched her face thoughtfully at him.
“I’m flattered then.” He declared, running a hand through his hair.
“Good.”
They sat like that for a bit, neither of them particularly eager to get back yet. Sirius watched as some bloke tried to chat up a pretty girl on the back porch, the group of hippies sprawled on the lawn sharing a joint and staring at the stars. A tall guy just left the house and seemed to be looking for someone as he scanned the garden. Sirius didn’t think much of it until they made eye contact and after the bloke noticed the girl sitting next to him, he started making his way towards them.
Sirius straightened slightly as the guy approached.
“Alright there?” the newcomer asked, looking down at the girl and Sirius looked between them, gauging her reaction.
“Oi! There you are!” the girl grinned.
“There I am?” asked the guy amused. “Been looking for you for half an hour now.”
“Sorry” she grinned and stood up. The guy now looked down at Sirius, taking him in. Sirius was expecting to see some irritation, suspicion maybe, on his face- instead the guy just studied him for a moment and gave him a slow nod before saying,
“Thanks for sitting with her. She’s a handful.”
Sirius, still a little startled at the reaction, just huffed a laugh and managed a shrug saying it was no problem. That earned him another nod and the bloke turned to the girl, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
“C’mon, let’s get going.”
She let out a pained sigh at that, muttering about having a great time, but ultimately didn’t argue. Just as the pair turned to leave, the girl looked back and with the brightest grin Sirius ever witnessed, said, “Thanks, pretty stranger.” With that they disappeared into the dark driveway.
That’s when it hit Sirius that he didn’t even ask her name.
