☀️Kira Miyanaka☀️

Pronouns: She/They

School: Hanasakigawa

Epithet: Sun Atop the Stage

Kira is the rhythm guitarist of Diamond Light! She has high expectations and even higher aspirations, determined to push the band to the absolute best it can be.

(What Does the Band Think?)

Kira: "The best way I can describe myself is dedicated. I'm determined to become the greatest star I can be no matter how hard I have to push or how long I have to work. Nothing is going to stop me from becoming the star I know I am meant to be."

Sachiko: "Kira-chan is a great role model… She's been working as an idol for ages, and she was a performer before that too. I can't help but admire her. She's determined to make Diamond Light the best it can be, and I'm determined to live up to her expectations!"

Aika: "Kira and I are… Opposites, I guess you could say. I think it's because we're so similar. We're always challenging each other to become better though. I'm not going to let her outshine me, and I know she'd never dream of letting me beat her either."

Mirina: "Kira-chan is intense in a lot of ways… But I know she wants us to just become the best performers we can be. She can be hard on us, but it's because she wants us all to make it to the top together. I think we all need her to encourage us sometimes."

Ryoka: "Kira-san is so confident and strong… She takes charge of the stage the instant she walks onto it. She can be intense, but I think she's like the sun… Fiery. Alive. Something everyone needs. I wish I had as much faith in myself as she does."

🥝Yoko Habara🥝

Pronouns: He/She

School: Tsukinomori

Epithet: Golden Eyed Idol

Yoko is the drummer of Diamond Light! He is chipper with a heart of gold to match his eyes. Above all else, Yoko wants to shine brightly for those he loves most.

(What Does the Band Think?)

Yoko: "I'm here to give it my all to become the best idol I can be! There's someone who I want to be proud of me, and I'm not giving up on that for the world. I won't stop until we're at the top of the world! That's a promise!"

Sachiko: "I feel like Yoko-chan and I really understand each other. Neither one of us has much experience with performing, but we want to do our best anyway. Yoko-chan is full of so much life every time she steps onto the stage… It's such an inspiration!"

Aika: "Yoko-chan's a good kid. She's got so much excitement behind everything she does, and it's enough to make you want to step it up a notch too. Everyone should be as passionate as Yoko-chan is about music. She's definitely got the right idea!"

Mirina: "Yoko-chan always does a great job of raising our spirits. I feel honored to be able to stand next to him whenever we perform. There's nothing quite looking beside me and watching him completely devote himself to the music. I hope I can be as excited as he is one day…"

Ryoka: "I feel like Yoko-san and I understand each other. We were both raised around the entertainment industry, and… We both know how lonely life can be sometimes. I feel stronger having Yoko-san by my side. I truly am honored to have such an incredible friend."

🪻Ryoka Sagami🪻

Pronouns: She/Her

School: Tsukinomori

Epithet: Softest Song

Ryoka is the keyboardist of Diamond Light! She has an extensive history as an idol thanks to her famous mother's tutelage, but she hopes to start over in her new group.

(What Does the Band Think?)

Ryoka: "There's really not much to say about me… I'm not entirely sure of what kind of person I am anyway. Maybe that's the reason I'm here in Diamond Light… To try and figure out who I want to be."

Sachiko: "Ryoka-chan is really sweet. She doesn't talk to the rest of us all that much, but I can tell she's happy to be here. I hope I can get to know her a bit better in the future. Until then, I'm glad we're in the same band."

Aika: "I've always had my eye on Ryoka-chan. I can't help but feel like we're just… Kindred spirits. It's hard to put a finger on. Some of my best days in recent memory have been those we've shared just playing music together. She means a lot to me."

Mirina: "I heard of Ryoka-chan long before we ever met. I feel like it's a privilege to get to know her in the way the rest of us in the band have though. She doesn't talk very much, but as long as she's happy here with all of us, I'm happy too. It's the least she deserves."

Yoko: "Ryoka-chan and I spend a lot of time together. We're the only members of the group that go to Tsukinomori, and since we're both kind of lonely… I guess it's a match made in heaven, huh? I really feel like I can let myself relax around her."

♥️Mirina Okinawa♥️

Pronouns: She/Her

School: Haneoka

Epithet: Scarlet Rising

Mirina is the bassist of Diamond Light! She is kind and composed, greeting all those she meets with a smile. She is determined to recover her dreams and rebuild herself.

(What Does the Band Think?)

Mirina: "I'm not sure of what I can say about myself… I've wanted to be an idol for as long as I can remember, and I'm excited to see where this group takes me. It feels like a breath of fresh air, and that's just what I need."

Sachiko: "You're never going to find anyone as nice as Mirina-chan! She always seems to know exactly what to say to cheer you up. I have a lot of fun walking to and from rehearsals with her. She's done a lot to make me feel welcome in Diamond Light."

Aika: "Mirina-chan's got a good head on her shoulders. I can tell she's got a lot more on her mind than she wants to talk about, but I'm not too worried about it. She'll come to the rest of us when she's ready. Until then, I'm happy to be in a band with her."

Ryoka: "Mirina-san is very kind… Both of us have experience with being idols, and I feel like I understand her because of it. I know she has a lot weighing on her mind, and I hope I can do something to help ease that burden one day. It feels like the least I can do."

Yoko: "Mirina-chan's really nice! There's something soothing about the way she plays her bass. And she's so dignified too… I hope I can be a bit more like her one day. She always seems to know exactly how to help people, and I really admire that."

💠Aika Taketoyo💠

Pronouns: They/Them

School: Hanasakigawa

Epithet: Sterling Wildcard

Aika is the lead guitarist, composer, and lyricist of Diamond Light! They're a free spirit, releasing all of their emotions through their self-written music.

(What Does the Band Think?)

Aika: "Me? Not sure of what there is to say… Well, I guess I'd call myself sincere. Nothing's quite as important as being authentic, and I hope I can convince other people to be their most honest selves too."

Sachiko: "Aika-san is really cool! Some people might find them intimidating with their punk aesthetic, but they're really nice beneath it all. And their music is really important to me too! It's always fun to be able to sing it at our shows."

Mirina: "Aika-san is one of the emotional centers of Diamond Light. Their music is very important to all of us. They can be a bit stubborn at times though. I always know I'm getting nothing but honesty when I talk to them though."

Ryoka: "I really admire Aika-san… They're so honest about everything. I wish I could be even half as strong and confident as they are. I hope we can get closer soon… I feel like I can trust them in a way I haven't felt with anyone else before."

Yoko: "Aika-san's great! I think they're amazing. Confidence like that is always awesome to see, and they've got more of it than anyone I know. I need to ask them for fashion advice too… I didn't know clothes could look that cool until we met!"
