Can you do headcanons where you and Subaru live on your own after moving out of the mansion, like how you and him adjust to living in an apartment and stuff ?
『 Subaru Sakamaki ー Independent Living with S/O Headcannons 』
❈ Subaru was a little hesitant at first to move into an apartment of all things. The suddenly smaller space made him a little claustrophobic compared to the mansion he was used to... but when you told him it came with a balcony where you could get fresh air, or grow flowers, he felt a little more at ease.
❈ He doesn’t mind if the apartment has big windows, but the only condition was that you at least bought so good curtains to be able to block out the sunlight whenever it got too much for his liking.
❈ He really, really wanted to bring along his coffin. It was a challenge even for the familiars to get up the stairs. It was also too big to big really anyway... but you ended up turning it into your coffee table. Subaru wasn’t a fan of this at all... but he slowly adjusted to sleeping in a bed over his coffin and hasn’t really turned back since. He actually enjoys being able to stretch out.
❈ I imagine Subaru would not be too big a fan of getting along with your neighbours. Many people probably think his s/o lives totally alone because he has a habit of sneaking in and out of the apartment complex.
❈ He is surprisingly open, though, to the idea of getting a pet now that you have your own independent living space. Maybe a cat or a small dog would work best for the two of you, in this new lifestyle.
❈ He really does enjoy getting away from the mansion, and his brothers... He feels really happy and in control now, being able to make his own food, clean up without being nagged about it, etc... Although occasionally he claims to have “forgotten” something just to go back and be in his old room again.
