I think deep, deep, deep down Kris is like us Kris is *Curious* they want to see what will happen even if they don't admit that to themselves.

It's even noted in chapter 3 that Kris holds a darker side "...no, part of you is just... enjoying this, isn't it? The same part of you that enjoyed yesterday. Knowing you could say it wasn't really you." A darker side that we do see glimpses of and it is entirely possible that they deep down enjoyed chapter 2s weird route.

We don't have total control over Kris they yawn to stop us from saying mean things to Susie and ralsei, they purposefully misinterpret our orders, they even bite their own hand to stop themselves from saying things they don't want to say hell they can even rip us out.

And yet they didn't throw away the thorn ring, they didn't stop us from "proceeding" with Noelle. they don't do anything? Curious.

Note I'm not saying Kris is evil despite Kris working the knight and yada yada I don't actually think kris is evil *at all* I think they're misunderstood if anything, what I DO think is that some part of them at least in the weird route ~maybe~ holds a shameful curiosity a darker side to them they try to keep at bay even if it's a part of them that only resides in there subconscious.

I think they want an excuse to say to themselves to say "it wasn't me! I was forced to do that! That wasn't what I wanted!" After all they do crash out on us in the end. They blatantly talk to us in my opinion for the first time saying "Please don't" they try to reset everything between chapter 3 and 4 too. I truly do believe kris isn't evil and that they absolutely love their family and friends.

they just probably do hide a deep down shameful perverted curiosity a "perverted sense of sentimentality" a reflection of the player in a sense. If Kris = Frisk it would actually be a quality the two share (at least in my opinion). Frisk is clearly their own individual and yet they seem to be willing to go on with whatever the player wants and in my opinion it's because much like us they love this world and are curious to know more about it even if it means breaking everything to do that (though maybe they'd feel differently if they... were adopted by toriel lived there own life and were older?) and I think kris is similar in that regard.

Again I don't think Kris is evil. At all. Hell I don't think Toby Fox would ever even write an entirely evil character. I just think they're not entirely innocent in this.

Frisk - Follows instructions perfectly, doesn't question the voices in there head, "kill all my friends? Lmao okay I'm bored anyway.", "another round of genocide queen?" Is determined, would've won against the roaring fraud (they whooped god of hyper death). Lose? Nah I'll refuse, better flirt, better dancer, would've gone on an actual date with ralsei, would've no diffed that loser skeleton befriending their mother, flirts with everything that moves, flirts with goat mom.

I just realized determination... De-termination.. in undertale determination is a physical substance that causes things to come to life like with the amalgamations and undyne the undying and frisk with the save mechanism... God damn!

I once had a dream about digital circus where all the digital circus characters voted to have a adventure on a train and they were trying to escape the simulation and for some reason and heres the wild part all the digital circus characters had kids. Like biological kids which is strange because I'm pretty they sure they were artificially created. anyway they convinced the kids to distract caine or something anyway the train got derailed and pomni and her kids (I don't remember who the other parent was but I think it was Jax which is strange because I don't even ship them) and pomni and Jax were running together with there kids (btw the kids were really tiny and all one color) and they ran into a huge tree stopping them from escaping and caine was hunting the crew. (I don't even know where they were going but for some reason there seemed to be a chance to escape? I'm not sure I think it had something involving caine and and perhaps abstraction)

Anyway then a white void appeared and I woke up.
