One of Heaven's tasks is to protect and archive any and all Holy Artifacts; anything ranging from driftwood from Noah's Ark, to the bones of Saints, to the Spear of Destiny. But recently, these artifacts have slowly been going missing. The forces of Hell are plotting to steal these Holy Artifacts, and they could accomplish evil deeds that would prove difficult even for Heaven to stop them. So, Heaven sends Angels down to collect intel and find the stolen pieces - but none ever make it back. So, in a last ditch effort, Archangel Michael himself chooses a capable and well-trusted Angel to find the whereabouts of these artifacts; a headstrong Cherubim, Ithuriel, the Angel of Gateways. With the help of an unlikely demon guide, Ithuriel must set out on his divine quest - but his faith begins faltering as he finds more and more evidence that there are other forces at play, beyond the benevolent forces of Heaven...
