A person buying a burger doesn’t feel like they’ve directly harmed an animal so  vegans coming out of the woodwork shouting at them feels like an out of nowhere attack. You're clearly big on critical thinking skills but seem to lack all empathy for other people’s pov. 

humans domesticate animals and select them to breed wayy more than their wild ancestors so that we could eat their offspring and then like super duper radical earth lovers in here will be like those animals looovee to lay eggs!! they love to produce unfertilized eggs for no reason!! it makes them happy! animals love serving us!! think about to poor animals! if you didnt eat their eggs they wouldnt be allowed to continue to do what we made them do for our own benefit :(( 

The Earth is not a private estate for humans. The land and other Earthlings are not just for humans to benefit off of. We as a species need to learn how to coexist with others and tread lightly on this earth rather than try to dominate everything we can.

what a lot of people don’t realize: you don’t have to LOVE animals to be vegan. you don’t have to view them as higher or even equal to humans. you don’t have to be bearing witness every other day and getting tattoos dedicated to them. literally all it takes is to recognize that living beings are living beings, not products that need a price tag on them.

interesting how capitalists constructed a system where the only way to get compensation for being wronged or cheated is to sue, but they made suing so inaccessible to poor people that it’s literally a stereotype that only rich, upper-class people sue. furthermore any time someone does successfully sue a corporation, the story is manipulated to discredit the litigator and strengthen the masses’ beliefs that suing is bad and greedy so they shouldn’t do it

People act like veganism is so difficult to understand but it’s just like… It’s really only doing the best you can to not kill animals when you don’t have to and making the most compassionate choice when and if possible. It’s not that deep, bro.
