I have always loved learning. The need and want to learn something new is an important value to me. In this class I was looking forward to getting techniques with posting online. I did my content analysis about hashtags which I learned a lot about. I look forward to using what i've learned in this class on my own personal posts. I think my writing process has come a long way. I have been putting my main point into headers in a word document and writing what comes to mind. This has helped me put my thoughts down quickly and freely. I tend to get caught up in the brainstorming step and becoming indecisive. A recent show that I enjoyed watching that unfortunately got cancelled was called The Shannara Chronicles. I thought this was a fun fantasy show. Fantasy is one of my favorite genres and personally feel there hasn't been too many really good fantasy movies/tv shows released. At least that I enjoyed so I was definitely bummed when that didn't get renewed.

When I think about a show being cancelled I think about Firefly. I watched it after it was cancelled but I absolutely loved it. The show got more popular after it was cancelled and with enough complaints the fans got a movie based off the show called Serenity which wrapped up what the show didn't get a chance to answer.

OG Content #4: Feedback Request
This is more of a curiosity for me than a request for feedback, but which type of content do you guys find you prefer on TikTok or Youtube (or other video sharing platforms)? I know what my own data says since I researched the results for my content analysis, but I was wondering what type of content you guys prefer. I like a mix of both, but if I had to choose I would choose series content to continually engage with. If its a topic that I am interested in, I prefer to know more about it than a single video can provide. There also may be updates on the situation it is covering or new information that outdates older videos on the topic. I love the way the information is allowed to flow and adapt to new updates on it. I'm wondering if you guys feel the same way or if you have other ideas about the pros/cons of each type of content.
I'm personally really bad with series. I get bored or distracted really easily so I prefer solo. I can watch one solid video that has whatever content that grabbed my attention get all the info I need in one sitting.
Tip For H2WG
One of the tips that I am offering in my H2WG is that if you need to make an advertisement for your account, it should probably be in the form of a video. I have found in my research that videos do drastically better than singular or multiple images in terms of likes and comments (at least in terms of cat-focused Instagram accounts), and advertisements typically do not perform as well as non-ads. However, by using both pieces of data, I have concluded that it would be more efficient and possibly garner the most engagement if the advertisement is in the form of a video.
I didn't even think about considering advertisements when researching the social media platforms and the content in them. This was a great point!

This is a good tip! Even if it's not super often having a schedule that works for them is super beneficial.
