But I forgot ToT’s rival marriage is different from AP. It probably wasn’t a glitch, it was probably them accidentally walking in on the last heart event. Anyway:

I also read online that somebody had a similar situation as this.

Chase’s 2 heart event occured before his arrival scene which happens in the inn, which was not supposed to happen. So when he did arrive at the inn we were already on two hearts. After days of giving him gifts and doing his other heart events, he confessed to me under Alan’s tree and I obviously accepted his feelings. And throughout that whole session, only one rival event occured which was when Maya gives Chase a dish and he says that it tastes disgusting.

Evening on the same day, I went to the inn to do my part time job but what was shown was Maya giving Chase a blue feather and he declined the offer. Maya ran off crying. I thought this was going well and good… until the next day I get an invitation to Maya and Chase’s wedding. I freaked out and waited to see if the wedding actually happens.

It did.

But something strange happened which I didn’t mention in my comic was that he said:

So I think the game coding was messed up and we were still ‘dating’.

I also drew his winter outfit since he confessed and arrived in winter. But his wedding was early Spring.

AP has it really convenient where the rivals befriend you and essentially ask for your advice/permission to date.
