I love the things people do that show you they’ve warmed up to you. The unabashed laughter and emotional expression, seeking you out in a crowded room, eyeing you when the teacher brings up partner work, the playful insults, the way they reach out for you when they’re in a laughing fit, saying something reminded them of you, shared nicknames, and getting to see another side of them you didn’t know existed.
