One thing the whole Gen AI shit did that was positive was bringing artists together. And it made me realize that all art is beautiful as long as someone spent a moment making it. As long as someone picked up a pen, an instrument, or whatever artistic tool, then its beautiful because it isnt AI.

Since Markiplier is the husband of an Atiny and has sung Ateez during one of his videos before, I'm just gonna drop this here and say:
This man made a whole-ass movie based on an indie horror game, brought in the original creator of the game to assist in script writing, brought in the original video game soundtrack composer to create the movie score, funded the project by himself, brought in his own crew he's worked with on all his previous large-scale filming projects, and built a goddamn render farm in his own bathroom because he edited the entire movie by himself and needed custom cooling after his AC blew up.
On top of that, he also halted production while the SAG-AFTRA strike was going on to show support, turned down a role in 'Five Nights at Freddy's' so he could keep working on this project, and broke the world record for most fake blood ever used on a movie set, beating out 'Evil Dead' which used 190,000 liters - and he even got so much of it into his eye that it got him sent to the hospital during the shooting of this first teaser:
And now, as someone who's been a fan of this guy for over a decade, I can tell you he really, really doesn't know how to half-ass shit, which is why I know this movie will be fucking incredible, and now that tickets are finally on sale with the release of the final trailer, I better be seeing them selling out like crazy so we can get international screenings, because I DIDN'T WAIT TWO WHOLE FUCKING YEARS FOR THIS, JUST SO I CAN'T WATCH IT IN A GODDAMN THEATER!
I also think choosing the line "I just wanna live... is that so wrong? Why doesn't anybody else want that?" is a really gut-wrenching way to end a horror movie trailer and says a lot about where this movie's focus will lie - fear, isolation, a desperate need for survival, and honestly, that's the direction I was really hoping this would go in.

I love the idea of Simon and Johnny raising a girl. I also love the idea of them adopting a kid in need of a family, especially if they trauma bonded with or saw themselves within the kid. Simon clearly did, remembering his shitty chilhood.

Emergency Commissions Open!! - Traveling to Uncle's Funeral
In October (still waiting for the date), I'll have to travel 2 hours from where I live to burry my uncle who passed away last November from Cancer. I will have to pay for transport but also for my own food and other travel related expenses. At least I won't have to pay for a motel since I'll be staying at my Grand-Father's. Help me raise money for this upcoming travel!
+/-20$ x2 for transport is the only sure amount that I know of.

So what is COD: Elmo Warfare?? Well good thing I can explain that! It's a project that I started long ago as I said. It's the 141 (+Roach cause well. Roach!) as the Fire Elmo meme! I did make GIFs but since I am going to rework the art, I'll have to update those as well later.
Basically those will be digital stickers (and later GIFs) you'll be able to get for your twitch/telegram/discord/etc.

"So how does one get this first set?" By working as a community! You see, I'd love to release them for free but I have been working on these for so long, including learning how to make gifs/simple animation, as a jobless disabled person, that I'd rather do a fundraising to help me pay medical debts/purchase food. Once the goal is reached, these will then be available on my Ko-Fi (1$? 5$?). These will also be given to the Ghoap Discord for everyone in it to use for free as a thank you for the warm welcome the community gave me when I joined and how awesome everyone simply is even after a year and a half later! Anyone who gets a membership or donates will also get it for free as soon as we reach the goal! It's only fair after all! If you prefer to commission me to get something now, you can either pay directly to it or I'll add that amount myself to the total! Yes, even Non-COD commissions will count!
"But what about X Character? He's my favorite!" My friend, do I have some good news for you! I consider this to be the 141 Set which means that anyone can request their favorite in the comments below. I'll probably make a poll later to see who should be the next one done. Characters can also be commissioned to be added to the next Set. Anyone who does, will get the current set for free (if they don't already have it) or get the next set that includes the character for free.
"What if I want a sticker of my OC/Sona/Character from a different Game/Show/Movie?" Then you can commission it! If you want more than one character, then a bundle price might be negotiable! For Fursonas and characters with non humanoid features, it might be a bit more since I'll have to adjust my template. It'll be discussed once you message me!
"Okay but what about PHYSICAL stickers??" I have thought about it! Thing is, I don't know how that could work for me as a seller while also making sure you have quality. I do not have machines at home to make them nor the budget for those or to spend on an inventory that might not sell. So if you know a print on demande website that is legit, won't steal my art and have decent quality, please do contact me about it or comment below! I would LOVE to offer these as physical stickers. I'd even get them for myself!

Hello! Firstly, loooove your Monster AU! You're the first artist I ever subscribed to and it is totally worth it! Can't wait to see more!
Secondly, I'd love to write short comics (COD or other fandoms) and have a few ideas. I know my skills are not great but it could still be fun to share with others instead of writing a fanfiction.
So my questions are:
- How did you plan the comic? / How did you know how to start it/break the ice?
- Did you plan most of the comic beforehand? Did you write a rough script first? Or did you just have a general idea and went for it?
- How do you know what to put on a page? Why all X elements on that page and not on multiple ones? EG if you had actual panels, how do you know how to plan them, know that X should be on the same page as Y but dedicating the next one to Z?
Any tips I should know? I don't plan on a long term comic like you're doing for now, just a simple few pages/panels, for now and have no idea how to take my idea and put it on a canvas. I know I want to tell X story, I have some ideas for the visual but I dont have more than that.
I am of course also doing general comic research on the side but I thought I'd ask someone that I follow closely and support for advice. Especially since it's someone from a common fandom/style that I aim for and not just a totally different style/theme/audience comic artist.

I'm overjoyed to hear that you want to start making comics, and I'm very happy to answer your questions but I'm aware my answers might not be very satisfying. I've been making comics since 2017, and I've improved a lot since then but that means certain things like panelling are a lot more instinctual to me now. Sometimes, you just have to start, knowing it's probably gonna be a bit bad at first, and then slowly keep at it and find ways for it to work for you.

I find an idea that inspires me. Sometimes it's an original idea I cook up on my own, sometimes it's a twitter thread or an inspo pic on Pinterest. I dont find there's any need to "break the ice" anymore, since making comics is very normal to me now. I don't really have to warm up to it.

I always write the script in my notes app on my phone first. It's always just dialogue, since I trust myself to read it back later and remember the action that goes along with it.

I don't really plan panels anymore, unless I have a really specific vision in mind. When I imagine a comic idea in my head, I imagine it as a sequence of "shots", so it's just a matter of putting them on the page. Which elements make it into a certain page can just come down to space. You need to make sure things aren't too densely packed, gotta let some things breathe. And some actions need a big space, like a big action shot should get at least half a page to sell the impact. But this is all stuff that you end up learning on the job. I'd advise you just start if you have an idea you want to see realised - you'll naturally improve the more you do it.
