Diet: raw meat.

Treats: human fingers, arms, or legs.

If any of his masters tell him to do something, he does it immediately. He understands absolutely everything you say.

“Ah, see, it’s the soul that’s different,” he commented, noting the animal’s confusion. “Look deeper, yeah?”

Dex put both paws on John's shoulders standing up face to face and smelling him. Once he noticed the difference he barked and licked his face.

“Strewth,” John muttered, smiling just a bit as he wiped at his face. He’d known hell hounds could be soft to their owners but nevwr experienced it firsthand.

Dex went down and bit softly on johns coat to drag him along, wanting to take him with him. He wagged his tail eagerly.

While Jason slept, Dex got into his home and jumped him on the bed, he growled down at his, his saliva dripping to his face as he dropped a small letter on top of him. He had gotten John to write it for him.

"You're my human, but you betrayed me when you hurt Prince John. I trusted you.

I miss you.

If you hurt him again, I will eat you alive.

Let's be friends again."

He was a hound of little words, but he thought it got his point across.

He got up and read the note carefully before offering his hand to dex "I'm sorry for breaking your trust, I don't intend for it to happen again. I would also like to be friends again if you let me"

Dex smelt his hand and then his face very closely to see if he was saying the truth. Once he determined he was, he stopped growling and started wagging his tail happily and licking his face.

It was a relief to be with his human again. Dex got up after a while and started running in circles on the bed, so naturally he was stumping on Jason. And if by accident he stepped on his nuts, well, shit happens.

Dex jumped him from behind. You would think he wanted to hurt him for how he was growling and biting, but the way he moved his tail and wasn't actually making Jason bleed was proof he was just playing. He was way rougher with John.

Dex liked to play fight. Him and john did it a lot.

Jason play fought back he was also a fan of play fighting he had done it with stuffed animals and Dick often he did what he could to try and pin the hound down like it was a wrestling match
