Dewies are presumed to be descended from the cats who fought in the Mongol campain against the Tangut kingdom of Hsia Hsia in 1207. They are identified by their black fur, said to have been charred by the flames in battle. However!!! Dewies have devolved over the generations and have become prissy cowards. Do not take your Dewy outside! He will be scared and try to burrow himself in your clothes and when that's not enough, they will try to claw into your body so they can hide in your flesh.
