Young Naruto has made the connection between unbearable pain and the appearance of guardian angels (read: ANBU) coming to the rescue. Sadly, they keep vanishing shortly after. Naruto is determined to make them appear more often. When pulling pranks and deliberately antagonizing the villagers becomes less and less effective, Naruto flings himself off the Hokage Monument — that seems to do the trick.
