Rather, he was grateful for the slower pace, because that now allowed him to catch up enough to playfully tackle the other male from behind. And now they were on the ground, with Mephiles hugging his husband's waist as he purred happily, his tail wagging in amusement. "Got you~"

"No need to feel all worried...I'm a surgeon not some crazed robot, hell  the worse I could do is make you have healing nanites. You should drink the tea though..I have been told it helps calm nerves."Â

"Itâs.. A long story," Mephiles replied with a sigh. He honestly was embarrassed of his childish reasons for disliking Sonics. It felt foolish to get jealous, let alone explain it.

"Y-You donât have to though, if you donât want to."
Slightly agitated sigh.
"Look, there won't be any problems between you and I so long as you don't get too close to my family," he replied - and though his statement could have implied that something awful had happened because of a Sonic, he was merely acting this way out of petty, unexplained jealousy and anxiety.
