Fraser looked ahead, fingers fiddling with his keys as he stood on the side of the road and waited for the light on the crossing to turn green. The cars kept passing by and once the traffic slowed down, from the corner of his eye, he noticed the person next to him made a move to cross the road while the light was still red. The cop inside him instinctively piped up before they could go through with it, “Jaywalking is illegal, you know. It’s not safe crossing the road while the light is red, no matter how much the traffic slowed down.” Geez he sounded like his mother.

“Next time you wave that thing near my face, I’ll break it.” Andre said in a very low voice, his patience running low with each passing minute.

“Look, do you seriously think you could take me in a game of darts?” Max didn’t want to sound condescending but precision was something he took a lot of pride in and not many people could take him on just like that. “How about a bet then?”

This flower store had been in his family for generations and he was proud to continue on the tradition. He wasn’t the brightest but he didn’t need to be when flowers were in his blood. The Earth witch noticed a customer with a difficult choice between flowers “you know flowers can mean a multiple of things, what are you trying to convey?”

It’s was just part of being a uin student partying. But Marco takes it to the next level, hosting his own because apparently one of his mother supported it fully she even came out with him. And he’d never been embarrassed by her when she did, he loved it. But this time she had just given him money “let me get you a drink it’s on my mamá”

He locked his lips from the other side of the room as her saw the other “give me a twirl...” he asked as they approached wanting to appreciate his new company to their fullest

“Oh stop... I’m a married woman, flirting won’t get you as far as you think.” Maybe a better deal on weapons.

“Look it’s not my fault you investment went sour. I advised to sell, your at fault if you didn’t approve such”

The pharmacy had been a growing business. Between the humans who were taking more and more supplements to consensually feed vampires and witches in need of ingredients or potions to restore their strength, or even the occasional werewolf who popped in with some bizarre set of symptoms, Ayerton couldn’t complain. Not about the cash. Clients on the other hand, were often stubborn. “I’d love to help you,” he’d been telling the human when the next person entered, the bell announcing a new comer. “But, like my assistant told you, what you’re looking for is not available without a medical prescription.” Be it from a human or a supernatural doctor. The human left in a hurry, banging doors and making a fuss. “Sorry about that,” he told the person in line. “What can I help you with?” @devilsplaybookstarters​

It had been an impulsive decision. Some creepy ass motherfucker had been hot on her tail since her first errand at the bakery this morning. She was due at work in… half an hour. And no way in hell was she going to let this stalker learn where she worked. So she casually dropped into the only booth with a solo client, hair tossed over one shoulder. “Can you just pretend to know me for like ten minutes?” Stalker dude entered the establishment and Zara had no choice but to tilt her head back and laugh as though the person before her had said something funny. The creeper’s eyes darted back and forth between the pair before slowly backing out and leaving. “What an ass.” @devilsplaybookstarters​

Nani had been curious regarding the town that had become notorious for harbouring a mix of species. While the curiosity may have killed the cat, it certainly held no power over vampires. And the first stop of any town: casinos. He’d always made reasonable cash, as good fortune was often at his side. “I’m feeling lucky tonight,” he admitted, tugging the lapels of his blazer and straightening the fabric once he exited the sleek vehicle. @devilsplaybookstarters​
