As we know through our KIM chats and conversations with Roathe, even more so if you do romance him, he appears to have this idea to 'protect' Deimos. However it is not out of the kindness of his heart. More so an act to gain the trust of the Entrati family before ending their lives right in front of Albrecht once he returns. So why does Roathe appear upstairs and has this look? For me I believe its because he is disappointed and upset to see what the Entrati family has become. The loss of his culture, even though he knew it was failing and required a certain 'reconstruction' with himself as the Emperor. This to me proves we will eventually see Albrecht return, however I have a daunting feeling we will need to make a choose when the time comes. To end the Entrati family or to save them from Roathe. Which if you romance Roathe, it may have an extremely heavy impact. But thats just one theory. The other reason I feel Roathe has this look is because he is annoyed at how easily it was for the Entrati family to fall so far. To become the monsters they are, and perhaps Roathe seeks to end their lives as an act of mercy. Or so he may be telling himself that. Through several dialogues during Roathes Date scenes, he does speak about how upset he is to see a once glorious empire turn to nothing. Perhaps he also feels guilty, knowing if he had not taken the serum, he might have become the emperor and stopped what was to eventually come. The last theory I have on why Roathe seems very upset is...well a different view. Roathe hates Albrecht, but not really his family. He even put i nthe effort to ensure that Loid was reunited with them. Thats something that I don't think anyone would bother to do with so much effort if they intend to kill the entire family. Its possible that Roathe is acting to be annoyed with the Entrati family. He already wants to protect them and their Heart of Deimos, a nice way of saying f you to Albrecht. I do not believe that Roathe would do all of this just to kill them when Entrati comes back. What I think is that Roathe actually cares about the Entrati family. So much so he is willing to step into Albrecht's role and act as a protector and almost as a guardian to fix what Albrecht had done. There is a part of me that suspects Roathe feels pity for them, empathy even considering what became of the Entrati family. Perhaps there are memories he is not willing to share. Maybe he was close to the family at one point of time and befriended them. So rather then allow others to see his kindness as weakness, he puts on a mask and acts annoyed and irritated. Its something we have seen Roathe do through his voice messages. How he covers himself to be a superior Orokin, then later one of his voice messages has him nearly breaking in tears. Showing remorse and sorrow for those he cared about, and yet pretended he did not. In the end this is just a theory. But I do feel that Roathe would be visiting the Entrati family and acting as a guard up there. Keeping an eye on Loid but also ensuring the safety of the Entrati family. Who knows, maybe he is trying to help find a way to cure them without death.
