" - Doug Aitken, artist and initiator of Station to Station, speaking with Tim Griffin, executive director and chief curator of the Kitchen, in Vol. 93 of The Parkett Series.Â
Aitken also says of the artistic experimentation; “A constantly changing group of artists, musicians, and individuals took part in spontaneous encounters and live performances on the train and at each stop along the journey.”
This traveling exhibition took place last fall, but what I love about Doug Aitken is how he recreates his art in the digital form for you to experience it again. I was just reading this interview this morning and I revisited the linked website.Â
