So, I like to have some ambient music/sounds playing in my headphones when I'm writing or reading. Helps tune out the stress of an otherwise very noisy house so I can focus. I've found two good channels so far that are AI free. Last minute addition to the chapter as I was posting it to Ao3, and it makes me smile like a doofus. Read the latest chapter of The Law of Resonance, Chapter 10: Trust Fall. I got a bit of whiplash after posting this one to see my word count at 57,711. I think it's really funny how the practice of bleeping out profanity is not only completely ineffective as a censorship tool, it's had the opposite effect of creating an environment where it's ridiculously easy to edit apparent profanity into footage that doesn't actually contain it. Like you can just grab any audio or video clip and bleep out anything and people will automatically mentally insert profanity in there it fucking rules.

My favorite thing I've ever done to a friend of mine was to edit a clip of their wedding video to have bleeps in the vows. It's okay, tho. I officiated the wedding, so I'm basically a priest.

I've Made A Bet

I bet myself that I had to post chapter one of a new fic by Friday, or I have to make myself watch a new anime that HASN'T COMPLETED YET. My worst media fear. I may or may not have had an idea for an OC YYH story that retells the movie Poltergeist Report in a post-canon setting. I've been day dreaming about it to abate some of the stress of my life as of late, and I need to get at it.
