If Avery does end up seeing the King I think he'd survive. His brain wouldn't keep anything though. Infinite knowledge, eldritch knowledge, incomprehensible horrors. Whatever happens his brain is just like "Wow! Okay!" and then his brain forcibly forgets it. He knows he saw something but not sure what exactly.

The King is neutral with Avery. Any positive feelings are because D3r likes him. There aren't really any negative feelings but neutral ones. Which when you're an infinite eldritch horror that's not much better.

That last point makes the think of an AU where the King and D3rlord3 influence each other through their connection

There could be a point where he might start accepting stuff (he's post college broke and they keep sending him free expensive stuff. Sue him) but for a long time he absolutely hates it. It feels like a mocking reminder that he's not the same person he once was.

Like a shitty consolation prize, "You're no longer a functioning human or member of society! You've been emotionally and mentally destroyed! Here's a fancy lemon cake!"

I've decided D3rlord3's name is Tobias Koenigsmann.

D3rlord3's half German it's from his dad (I've decided he's dead).

Avery after finding the book dug through the laptop and managed to find the videos. Both uncensored and censored. But for some reason the uncensored ones got corrupted just as he got near the end :/ odd….

In a moment of bad decision making Avery decided to track down Tobias. It was a good idea in the long run but in the short term… Really Avery?

I like to think there's an IRL cult of TKiY. They made the Minecraft world. Tobias is now the favorite as he's still alive after seeing the King. They send him stuff in the mail.

TKiY is very interested in Tobias now. It's like cuteness aggression. This is its favorite human. Look at him. He's extortionary pathetic right now but he's its favorite. It shows up in Tobias' dreams and is like "Hi :)"

Like 19-ish and still lives with his parents, much to their chagrin.

His parents love him they just want him to do something (college, trades, looking at moving, etc)

Spends a lot of time with online friends. He drifted away from IRL one's once he left high school.

Was planning to move out but his planned roommates fell through.

When preparing to move out, he decided to try and do one of those storage unit/locker auctions. He found one with a lot of furniture in it and bought it. He found the laptop and backed it up, just in case someone forgot it was in there and needed the data on it. He then decided to be nosy.

22 and just graduated college (I feel like he got a math based degree like accounting)

After seeing behind the doors he was actually okay for a little bit. There was the immediate panic and pain but after a day he seemed to be fine.

Then about a month later he crashed and ended up rotting in bed. Whether from infinite knowledge or something else.

Dad's not around anymore (dead and/or left. Haven't decided yet).

Mom is… a character. She thought she could convince him to get out of bed by "Hiding that damn computer" (and other stuff of his) in her storage unit. She forgot about it and let it go to auction. D3rLord3 is aware but physically couldn't get himself out of bed to stop her.
