She/her. I’m enhancing old SPN con videos to make them more watchable and accessible. I'm excessively fond of J2, both together and separately. I'm not "tinhat", but I enjoy suspending my disbelief on occasion and I love their friendship.
I’d rather see people talk about what they love and not what they hate, and I try to do the same. I’m not very active on social media, but I use Tumblr more than others. Private messages are welcome.

I'm working on the LA convention from March 2009. Three videos from that convention have been published and I'm now working on the Main J2 panel. I'm aiming for a three-week turnaround time on it. After that, I'll work on Misha's solo panel.
Thank you to everyone who has shown an interest in these videos. The reblogs and likes all made me very happy, and I especially appreciated the kind comments some of you left in your reblog text and tags. I'm unsure of the proper Tumblr way to respond directly to that in a way that won't annoy people, but I've definitely noticed and appreciated it!
An explanation of this project and my plans for it are listed below the break. A lot of it will be familiar if you've read my earlier posts, but it's more detailed -- and excessively long! There's also some info on how you can help, especially if you have any old videos or audio files that you'd be willing to contribute.
Why Do You Call These "Enhanced Editions"?
The videos I'm using are not my own, but I've spent many hours adding enhancements to them. My goal is to make these the most watchable and accessible versions of these older convention panels published to date. Credit and links to the original videos are in the video descriptions. These are the typical enhancements you'll see:
When possible, I'm upscaling the videos. This doesn't always work, especially on videos that are lower quality to begin with, but sometimes it makes a significant improvement in video quality.
When necessary, I'm correcting colors on the videos to try to make them look more natural and consistent. I'm very inexperienced in this area, and I don't consider it to be one of my strengths, but I'm learning.
The original videos are usually in multiple parts, but I'm editing them together into a single video as cohesively as possible. I may use videos from multiple sources to provide the most complete video possible, and I'll select the ones with the highest video quality and/or the best view of the action available. Sometimes I have to make difficult choices between the video with the best view (meaning a clear view of their actions and/or facial expressions) and the video with the best quality. I usually lean toward the one with the best view in those cases. I also choose the clearest audio I can find, so the audio you hear didn't always come from the video you're watching.
I'm adding extra content to help clarify references people make during the panels. The videos I've worked with so far don't take up the full width of a modern video frame, so I've taken advantage of that extra space to display the extra content to the side where it's less obtrusive. There are explanations for obscure references that are way funnier when you understand what they mean, plus episode references to help jog the memory for those of us who haven't rewatched the show a million times. In rare cases where I think it will enhance understanding, I'll insert brief episode clips that highlight what they're talking about.
I'm putting a LOT of time into adding good, color-coded English subtitles that can be turned on and off with YouTube's CC button. These videos can be frustrating to understand because the audience often drowns them out and Jared and Jensen tend to talk at the same time when they're together. I can't always figure everything out, but it's far better than the crazy, auto-generated nonsense that many videos have. YouTube can then translate my English subtitles into other languages, so this improves their accessibility. The color-coding helps with telling who's saying what: red for Jared, blue for Jensen, green for the general audience, yellow for the current fan at the microphone, and white for other people such as staff.
If there's missing footage that I can't find anywhere, then if I can find a source that seems to have reliable details about what was discussed, I'll add static images with a brief summary and a link to my source in the video description.
What Conventions Do You Plan to Enhance?
I don't want to make grand promises that I'll enhance videos for every old convention, although I definitely love the idea of doing so. How far I go with this will depend on how much sustained interest there is from other people and how much spare time I have myself.
My main focus is the panels with Jared and/or Jensen. They're the ones I'm most interested in and it takes a certain level of obsession to spend this many hours watching the same video over and over as part of the editing process! If I obtain any mostly-complete videos of Misha's solo panels that upscale well, I may also do some of those. I have done a couple of his already. He will also of course be included if he's in a panel with Jared and/or Jensen.
I haven't quantified exactly what "old" is, so I can't tell you I plan to work on all videos up through a specific year and then stop. For now I'm just plowing my way through with blinders on until one of four things happen: 1) I don't feel like I'm adding any value any more, 2) I no longer have the time or energy for the project, 3) everybody else has lost interest in the project and nobody's watching anymore, or 4) I've reached cons that are recent enough that the original video takers don't want their videos used for this project.
Can I Help?
If you have any old convention videos or audio files that you're willing to contribute, please message me! Maybe I can use them, maybe I can't, but the more I have to work with, the better chance I have of creating something more complete. If I do use your material, I'll credit you in whatever manner you prefer.
Even if your videos are on YouTube, it would save me a lot of angst if you could reach out to me and let me know about your channel in case I haven't found it already and confirm if you'd be ok with my using your videos. If you have videos that you don't want me to use, please let me know that too and I will respect that. I spend a good amount of time trying to track people down before I use their videos. If I can find a way to reach them, then I request permission first. I've managed to make contact with several very generous people, but a lot of people have also fallen off the face of the earth. If I can't find an active account for someone, then I go ahead and use their videos, but always with some trepidation that I might eventually piss someone off. Many of the older videos have already been republished by other people without credit, and I do always credit my sources, even if I only use a second or two of audio from their video.
If you send me videos that I'm able to upscale and/or color correct, then I'd be happy to send those updated versions back to you for your collection regardless of whether or not I use them.
Even if your video looks terrible, you might just have a missing piece of footage that I couldn't find anywhere else, or your video might upscale more easily than another. Some of the footage I've gotten the most excited about has been audio-only footage or very low quality video footage that captured a few seconds from a panel that nobody else captured. If nothing else, I might be able to hear something in the audio that will help me fill in a subtitle I couldn't figure out.
I've greatly appreciated everyone who has contributed to this project by freely sharing their recordings. I also appreciate everyone who has watched my videos and especially those who have taken the time to let me know that you're enjoying them or benefitting from them in some way. Thank you!

Heroes Comic Con with Jared and Sam Smith - Panel from Sunday, May 31, 2026
I'm a little slow, this went up 6 hours ago, but I didn't see it posted on Tumblr yet. Sorry if I'm duplicating anyone. Shared by Sara Klingberg. (Tumblr doesn't seem to want to create a hyperlink today. Here's the channel's address: https://www.youtube.com/@S.Klingan)
If I see any other versions, I'll add them in a reblog to this post.
There was a Saturday panel too, so if/when a video goes up from that one I'll create a new post.
New Enhanced Edition - LACON 2009 - Solo Jared Panel
Direct link to video.
Link to YouTube channel. (36 videos available.)
Jared's solo video from LA 2009 is now up! There's also a fun little bit between Jared and Jensen at the end when Jensen comes back on stage for their combined panel, although it's probably funnier if you've already watched Jensen's solo panel too.
Footage Notes
This is a short one at only 21 minutes, but it's very close to the complete panel. There's just one gap in the middle of one of Jared's answers. The missing words according to j2wiki's transcript will be in the sidebar when the gap happens.
There are about 2 minutes of audio-only coverage scattered throughout the video in 6 short segments. This video is way more coherent than it would have been without the audio recordings by juice817 on LJ to tie some of the disconnected clips together. I used most of their audio in my edit. There are also 24 seconds of video coverage that we wouldn't have had at all if not for clips that both Candygramme and AgtSpooky had saved from loss over all these years.
The video quality is lower in this panel than it was in Jensen's, and the next panel will probably be even worse.
What's Next?
The main J2 panel from this same convention will be next. It'll be about 32.5 minutes with one small gap near the end. J2wiki has a transcript of that one too to help us fill in the gap.
The J2 panel will have about 7 minutes of audio-only coverage. Some parts of that will be frustrating because they're not talking but they're clearly doing something funny that we can't see. I'd rather have audio than nothing, though! I also have 52 seconds of video coverage that we wouldn't have had otherwise thanks to some clips Candygramme had.
The J2 panel will probably take me 3 weeks to turn around. After that, I still plan to do Misha's panel from this convention. That will be my last LA 2009 video.
Updating Subtitles on Older Videos
If anyone's wondering, I'm also slowly working through updating my older videos to the new subtitle format that I've used on my last several videos -- the white text with colored initials.
I'm working backwards in chronological order, so I'm currently done with 2013, 2011, and part of 2010. I'm putting a very small amount of time into this each day so I can make steady progress while not letting it eat too much into my video editing time. I hope to have them all done by the end of July.
Until then, if you're watching my videos in chronological order, you'll see the format bouncing back and forth a little bit until you catch up to the year I'm on. Sorry!
Before/After Comparison Photos
The source in these screen shots was used for about 7.5 minutes of the video. That was the most footage I used from any single video source, but I used several others in much smaller lengths. My full credits are in my video description as always.
If you're unfamiliar with this project...
Check out the pinned post on my blog. It has more details about what I'm doing. I also keep it updated with links to all my videos and a note about which panel I'm currently working on.
Video Clips from the J2 VIP Panel at Purgatory 10 on May 23, 2026
These are all on TikTok. I'm going to link them rather embedding them since there are so many. Also, the fact that I even saw these is thanks to this post on X who drew attention to them.
One more clip has been added by the same account. This follows at some point after clip #8 I think. It also has the bit where Jensen kills the fly. Not in the way I'd pictured when I heard the story!
Clip 9
There's also a very short clip which I guess is either their entrance or exit or at some point during the opening or closing ceremony or something. It's set to music so you can't hear what they're saying and I haven't watched through everything through in enough detail yet to recognize what it's from or if I've seen it before.

16 Video Clips from the Jensen & Misha Panel at Purgatory 10 on May 23, 2026
This channel on YouTube has posted 16 clips from the Jensen & Misha panel. Cornelia Collins
Sorry if someone has already posted these, but I've only seen a few clips shared here and there, often without crediting the original source, so I wanted to make sure people had the entire set and knew who to thank.
Since there are so many videos, I'm just linking to the channel instead of embedding all of them. They're all under the "Shorts" tab which the above link should go directly to, and the videos are numbered so you can tell what sequence to watch them in. There appear to be some numbers missing, but #10 clearly followed #8 with some content overlap between those two videos even though #9 was missing, so they might just be misnumbered.
Also, I reblogged this earlier, but I accidentally split it off onto a separate reblog, so I'm adding this one here so all the versions can be seen in the same set of reblogs. This one was by Robyn Phillips.
JIB 16 - Jared & Rob Panel + J2R2 Panel from Sunday, April 26
The first video starts off as the Jared & Rob panel then becomes the J2R2 panel after Jensen and Rich came on stage to join them. The second and third videos have the rest of the J2R2 panel.
By Aurélie Kitty.
As before, other versions of this panel will be added in reblogs. This is the last set of panels I personally was watching for, so everything should be reblogs from this point out and I'll stop flooding the tags!
Oops, one more! I should have included this with the last reblog, but I hadn't checked all my YouTube tabs yet. Now I have.
By Robyn Phillips.
Amy Cui also just posted a closing ceremony vid a couple hours ago, which is the first vid from her for this con, so we may be getting another set of videos if she plans to publish others. But I am going to bed, so I'll add them sometime tomorrow if they show up overnight, but there's her channel link meanwhile. If she posts a full J2R2 panel, I'll include her closing ceremony vid with that reblog.

New Enhanced Edition - LACON 2009 - Solo Jensen Panel
Direct link to video.
Link to YouTube channel. (35 videos available.)
I have a new video up! It's been a while since I've had a solo Jensen panel to publish. I have very close to the full panel, which was better than I expected when I first set out to tackle the mess of LA 2009 video clips. More details below.
Footage Notes
The total video is about 26 minutes long. There's a short gap where we miss a fan's question and the very beginning of Jensen's answer, but otherwise we have the full panel. J2wiki had transcribed this panel back in the day when more footage was available, so we at least know what we're missing. I put that info in the sidebar just before the footage gap.
This video will also include 73 seconds of audio-only coverage toward the end. This picks up after the aforementioned footage gap and helps to cover some of the missing content not found in any currently-available videos. This audio is courtesy of some MP3 files shared by juice817 on LJ. Those files have been an enormous help in tying together all the short video clips throughout all the main panels. I also thought they had some of the clearer audio available from this panel, so I used them for over 75% of the video.
Over 77% of the video footage itself came from lilbearblu. As seen in the example screen shots below, I didn't do a lot to improve it. I just dialed back the red tinge a little and, as I always do with my edited videos, I added some mild stabilization which suppresses some of the smaller jitters. This was by far the best quality of the footage available from this panel, but they had to dodge audience heads throughout so it does make for some pretty shaky footage.
What's Next?
Next up is Jared's solo panel. I have about 20.5 minutes of footage, but we aren't missing much content. His panel was apparently just really short. I only have one small footage gap in the middle of Jared answering one of the questions, and thanks again to j2wiki's transcripts, I can fill in what was missed.
Lilbearblu unfortunately didn't get much coverage of this panel, and the audience heads were even more problematic for them in this panel, so the overall video quality will be lower than Jensen's.
Those MP3 files from juice817 will be a big benefit in this edit because there are 6 gaps in the video footage, usually 30 seconds or less at a time. Without this audio I wouldn't have known precisely how to sequence the clips and the whole thing would have been more disjointed. Having the audio gives us a more seamless and coherent panel, although there will be some small audio-only segments.
Even though Jared's panel is only 20.5 minutes, I'm sticking with a three-week turnaround plan for it. I have a rather overwhelming to-do list at the moment between real-life personal stuff, real-life work stuff, and SPN stuff. I'm hoping Jared's shorter video will give me some time to catch up on life a little bit.

Jared & Gen Panel at the Paris ComicCon on April 18, 2026
I've found very little from this con, but someone put up a vid with over 8 minutes' worth of clips earlier today, so I thought I'd go ahead and post what I've found. The entire audience had to stand, so that probably explains why there haven't been any substantial videos from the panel. That would have made it really difficult to film.
sabrina.series1 seems to be the only intrepid attendee who captured much of the panel. They have a few clips on a variety of places: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including the aforementioned 8+ minute vid. Some of these links have bits that are repetitive with other bits, and one of them has music overlaying part (but not all) of the panel which makes it difficult to hear what they're saying.
It was taking me too long to figure out how to embed these links coherently since I'm not really grasping the organization behind how these clips were posted, and I reaaaallly do not have the time to sort it out, so I gave up the attempt and I'm just providing direct links. The first link is the longer one. I think there's probably at least 11 minutes of unique content across these links.
I've also found a few other clips from other people, mostly repetitive with the above content I think. The first link has 59 uninterrupted seconds of their entrance though, whereas the above clips cut out small bits of it. The TikTok account of the 2nd link might have more, but you have to be logged in to browse their channel and I haven't yet bitten the bullet and created a TikTok acct so I couldn't check. I only found this vid because someone linked to it elsewhere (with apologies to whoever that was; I neglected to record where I got it from) and you can view it if you have the direct video link.

https://x.com/i/status/2046317510287372791
And that's all I've found. Please do let me know if you've found anything I haven't! There are a lot of non-panel clips from autographs and photo ops and such, but I didn't bother to include those in this post.
If I find any more clips that I think have content not already contained in these clips, I'll reblog this post and add them. If by some miracle a mostly-full panel video gets posted later, I'll put that in a separate post.
By the way, in case anyone isn't aware, you can follow a post (no need to follow the account or turn on notifications from the entire account) and it will notify you whenever anyone reblogs that post with either tags or text or adds a comment. This does mean you may get notifications about random other reblogs that don't contain new info, but I personally like this feature because notifications are pretty much the only thing I'm guaranteed to see on Tumblr. I can ignore the notifications I'm not interested in easily enough. I find that these types of notifications usually don't show as push notifications on my phone (the behavior is inconsistent though), but they do show up under the notifications when I open Tumblr.
Also, I reblogged this earlier, but I accidentally split it off onto a separate reblog, so I'm adding this one here so all the versions can be seen in the same set of reblogs. This one was by Robyn Phillips.

JIB 16 - J2 Panel from Saturday, April 25 (with some J2M near the end)
This looks like a full video of the J2 panel that happened earlier today! I haven't watched it yet, but I'm looking forward to finally seeing a new J2 panel after all these many months.
Edit: Oops, I forgot Misha showed up toward the end of this panel. I didn't leave him out on purpose. Adding him to the tags now!
By Robyn Phillips. Just went up less than 20 minutes ago.
If I find other full videos of the same panel down the road, I'll reblog this post with the links. Other panels will go in separate posts if/when we start getting something substantial. So far I've only seen partial clips of the others, but it's still early so I'm impressed we got the J2 panel this fast!
Here's another version of this panel, in two parts, by
Aurélie Kitty.
The same channel has also posted part of Jensen's panel, but it looks like they have another part coming based on how they labeled them. I'll hold off on creating a post for it until there's a complete set, but it's out there if anyone wants to watch what's there now.
