I’ve been wanting to try drawing lions for a long time. I’ve also wanted to get them to look stylized WITHOUT defaulting to TLK style because I’m actually working on a project involving formerly domesticated lions who have adapted to a nasty gross planet left behind by materialistic human a-holes. Very different settings! Unlike modern-day/actual lions, they’re also beginning to develop written language, culture, and can kind of use fire. As much as this setting started out as a joke at first, I’ve become fond of it and might make a write-up on The Trash lions of Dhaldhalaalaan Leo Colony 7 (DLColony7 or DLC7 for short) someday.
