after many hours of tutorials and practice and contemplation......i think ive gotten crochet figured out!!!! i will post pics in the morning but i think ive got like a star blanket situation going on.
ive been trying for yearss to get the hang of holding the yarn right and i just couldnt figure it out! and i couldnt ever get a project started. BUT. after making some swatches of single crochets/double crochets/half-double crochets.....it finally clicked...i can see it all! it makes sense!!!
ok here it is! practicing with some acrylic yarn. i am just gonna go until either i am sick of it or until the yarn runs out!
star blanket is done! my tension loosened up over time but i think i still could have upped the hook size. overall it was way fun and i am excited to learn more! i had a pattern going on but then i immediately started to run out of yarn and had to improvise something new with different yarns.
