“Eeevveeee, have you collected any candy yet?!! You should give them to me. I looked into one for scientific reasons, considering how it’s strange that candy is just randomly giving out, and–it turns out it’s very dangerous for nasods.”

However, now he was in another predicament. So when a voice called out to him, it was relief that filled the young boy.

     This boy had lifted up a car just to pick up an orange? It only showed as slight exasperation, but Eve found herself in a state of mild disbelief. Was it really worth doing this just to pick up an orange? And how was he even capable of doing something like that?

     Still staring, trying to understand what was happening, Eve walked over and picked up the orange, staring at it for a moment before returning to where she’d been standing before, and holding the orange out to the strange, superhuman boy.

As much as Kusuo enjoys the cold weather, he doesn’t appreciate the sudden downpour. More so when he underestimated the thunder which had instantly lead to a heavy downpour.

Running from the heavy rain as he headed to the nearest cover, he already knew that he has to share the roof with someone else beforehand. Not that he minds, but he’s bothered how he’s soaked and the inability to just use his power to remove the excess water in an instant. It wouldn’t be a problem if the attention wasn’t on him. 

There was no need for him to be worried about revealing his identity in afterlife given everyone’s own odd quirks. Still. he prefers to stay true to character and out of anyone’s radar like he always had been. But is it honestly worth the horrible sensation of squishy-wet footwear?

Looking at Eve upon hearing the concerned inquiry, he simply gave a small nod before looking at the thunderstorm.

     Although she was content to sit in silence, the antennae on top of his head caught her eye. They resembled robotic equipment, and while she could easily tell they weren’t Nasod (as most of the strange technology in Amaranth) she was interested nonetheless.

So this was the other Eve that bastard had mentioned. Silver hair, Moby and Remy floating off to the side, core in the center of her forehead, she was there in all of her queenly glory.

But she wasn’t his Empress.

     His name couldn’t actually be Add. No, it could be. His voice was the same, same name, same face, but no. It doesn’t have to actually be him. It’s a joke, that irritating sense of “humor.” Doubtlessly, this was some sort of prank that the Esper she knew had put someone up to, meant to frustrate her and confuse her, correct?

     The appearance of another version of herself was enough. She couldn’t possibly accept that there was more than one of him here.

     Once she got over her initial irritation about having bread thrown at her to grab her attention, she began to think about his words. He would be correct in assuming Oberon and Ophelia carried no significance for her.

and as per her usual protocol, the seraph filed this newly gotten information in the depths of her data banks, alongside the image of her… other self? if she could call nemesis that. it’s jarring, to say the least ( not that it showed on her features ), to see herself take up a different path than her current one. she’d taken into account the exotic code during her reawakening, but ultimately set it aside, thinking heavily on another nasod baring the same code.

yet it seemed as though this other eve kept herself in control, a feat she’d thought impossible.

     Although, the statements her other self added on took her interest far more than another version of herself bearing a different code, as strange as that was to say. The price to pay was the emotional circuit, which meant that she was standing before a version of herself that had shed the hindrance of emotion, likely for good.

     She found herself wondering if she could have become like this, instead of her unnecessary emotions taking root in her as they had. She would have liked it that way. And yet, the thought, it scared her.
