While Banner could suppress most of its nonsense, a crack of a smile — dark, daring — manifested and vied to spill over into something more, the efforts visible through a gleam of green in his brown eyes.

It was short-lived, however; as the doctor realized his behaviour and blinked to fetter the sentiment of his other half. Then, aware that he hadn’t formally greeted Drax yet, he hastily offered a hand while his visage mellowed into a polite smile.
