my ideal end of the story for Will Byers is him in New York City working as an artist sharing an apartment with his boyfriend (preferably a stranger to us, someone who knows him as just Will and not zombie boy) and having absolutely zero stress. that's how i want it to end for him

i'll admit i never cared too much for Mike Wheeler throughout the entirety of Stranger Things, but this season he's been an absolute shining star. I feel like, he was always caring and protective but this is the first time I've watched him and actually felt like he was fully able TO protect. like he just needed to grow a little for it all to slot into place. his scene with Holly was a stand out, along with his interactions with the other younger children later on. "Stay behind me" "Eyes on me!" He's a protector, and he's really the highlight of this season for me.
