Not for anything he's done in game. No, my issue is more meta. He's literally written to be a tease for Dottore fans. I won't say much of how since that'd be spoilers but... Hoyo literally threw the "old teddy bear" away and brought in some similar one that isn't actually like the old one at all.
Either make Dottore playable or don't, Hoyo.
(I don't hate him, fwiw. He seems like he does have some individual traits that are really cool but my friend's doing his story quest right now and I'm getting all the details thru that.)

This is mostly based off thewiglesswonder's (I am too scared to directly @ them) posts about Pantalone hating children and being hated by 8yo Dottore in turn, because I think it would be absolutely comical and rather accurate to how certain other creatures are.
This is personal experience (secondhand thru stories and firsthand thru reptiles) but cats and dogs seem to know when someone is Not A Fan and react accordingly by doing everything in their power to latch onto them and convince them otherwise. Pantalone has it even worse, because it happens with children.
He feels a pair of eyes on him and KNOWS that when he turns around some tiny snotty kid is going to be there staring at him, and nothing he does is going to get them to go away until someone they know collects them. He despises it every single time.
It's bad enough that anytime something needs to be done with Arlecchino involving the Hearth, he sends a subordinate instead because he will, without fail, get mobbed by a bunch of small children.

Quite honestly I want to play around with a few ideas simultaneously, one of which is making Traveler actually seem like a threat to Teyvat itself because of the fact they are not bound by a predetermined fate. Part of that is, of course, being able to act how they want towards whomever they are interacting with.
My end goal is basically to look at Hoyo's writing and then flip their script into some only vaguely recognizable thing.
I've also got a minecraft world I've been slogging away at with all kinds of fun stuff in it, since it's meant to be the rewritten Teapot (the place you get to build in).
