Destination Belgium

The Universe never fails to surprise me. For the first time in my life, when I laid eyes on him and as we shook hands, the whole atmosphere around us lit up with a bang, as if the whole universe was celebrating this magical encounter.

As I entered this architectural marvel, I saw life buzzing around me and myriads of expressions flashing through many unfamiliar faces. Some faces filled with hopes and exhilaration to explore a whole new world, and some masked by deep sorrows of departing goodbyes. As I tried to read their untold stories behind those “hi-s” and “goodbyes,” I realized in few moments I too will have to say my goodbyes to this extraordinary place with a heart full of memories. Taking a deep breath, I looked above. I felt like the infinitesimal specifics sculptured into the dome captures the enigma of life, adorned by greetings and goodbye.
