This is a Callout post for all the “antis” in the Circle of Meanies server. The server is owned and run by 2ds-melodica. They have another, more secret server they talked about a lot. But I don’t have any information on it. I can only assume it’s much worse than this one.

Before making this post, I collected the Server ID, Channel IDs, all of the User IDs, and various Message IDs for the messages you see in these screenshots and have already sent them to Discord’s abuse section, who are investigating.

This is very, VERY long post, but I wanted to keep the screenshots fully for continuity, and to keep from being accused of taking certain messages out of context.

Any names/messages blotched out in red are from accounts who were kicked from the server out of suspicion early on and did not participate in the harassment.

These screenshots have been collected over the past few days, (April  so all of this is very recent. They are broken up into sections to keep them organized, there will be some repeats because some screenshots over lap and go into more than one section.

Zuko means well, but he encourages Katara to go for revenge and hatred.

Aang, on the other hand, acknowledges her pain and desire for revenge but also provides her with another path that will help her grow and heal.

Zuko does nothing but figure out what’s wrong and give her the opportunity to find closure, no matter how she chooses to do that. He never once says “hey, here’s your revenge.” In fact, he’s mostly silent while Katara is hunting down Yon Rha. He asks about her mother and what happened, something Aang never does.

Aang was raised to be detached from the world. Forgive and forget is a method of detachment so you don’t have to hurt and it’s not an end all way of finding peace. In some cases, it’s a way of avoiding the problem. YOU CANNOT JUST FORGIVE AND FORGET THE MURDERER OF A LOVED ONE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE THE POWER TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Katara was not raised to separate her feelings from the physical world.

Katara was not raised to be a monk.

Katara is not some enlightened fucking angel who must be always be good, and can never have darker moments

Katara is a human fucking being who was angry and hurt and was provided a way of confronting the issue that’s been haunting her for years.

Katara does not have to follow Aang’s ideaology just because he didn’t seek revenge against the fire nation when they wiped out the air nomads.

Katara looked up to her mother more than anyone else in the world, and ended up filling her role to the point she doesn’t consider herself a child at the age of 14.

Katara is allowed to be angry, she has the right to seek revenge on someone who took the most important person to her, she has the right to not forgive Yon Rha, and how fucking dare aang say to just forgive and forget that?

Everyone knew that Ozai would be better off dead, but Aang spared him because of his own ideologies. If Aang didn’t have to follow the other‘s idea of killing Ozai then Katara didn’t have to follow his advice of sparing.

For whatever reason Peter’s last visit had proved her worthy of his trust once more. It had shown him that she was still his. That she was still easily manipulated, frightened enough to be molded into a worthy confidant, it was a given that she could and would not leave him. In his mind he believed her to be one hundred percent dependent on him. And she could not argue that, as, for the most part, she was. He’d made her that way. She knew now he did not need him to make her decisions, to make her feel whole.
