[ Okay so... Vision could hold Mjolnir because of the Mind Stone in his head~

Technically Ultron’s consciousness was awoken by and thus is a creation of the Mind Stone. So could Ultron have also been able to hold Mjolnir, or would the Mind Stone have needed to physically be a part of him like in Vision’s case? ]

Tony went with Ultron without any resistance, trembling under the metallic hands on his shoulders. The grip was reassuring and grounding and helped alleviate some of the oncoming panic. “I… I don’t know what happened-” He murmured, eyes trained on the floor as he ran his hands through his short hair in an attempt to settle himself down.

“I felt everyone’s eyes and…” God, he used to be a public figure. Used to give speeches in front of millions of people. Now he couldn’t so much as stand in a room of twenty people without having a fucking panic attack over it.

“Don’t worry about them.” That’s what he was here for, it was his job to worry in Tony’s place. He waited a moment, letting Tony catch his breath, “Leave that to me.” Ultron kept his sentences short and easy to process, and remained still with the exception of a tilt of his head. “Their eyes can’t do anything to you.” There were steps he walked through each time Tony had an attack, to have Tony count to ten or perform a simple gesture, to get him focusing on something immediate and contained. This time, however, he simply offered his hand.

“Do you want to go home?”

It was such an unexpected and surprising thing to hear. Ultron paused, letting Tony’s words echo within his head. Ultron was always so sure of what his purpose was, it governed every action, and reverberated louder than anything, day after day, moment after moment deep within his systems. It was always a sound ringing in the back of his mind, often confusing, but it translated in a strange way to him and him alone.

Yet, those few words from Tony seemed to make the noise go silent within an instant. And for a moment Ultron seemed to know a semblance of mental peace. Freedom from the horrible white noise.

A foreign and beautiful sense of elation. Unexplained, almost terrifying.

Ultron couldn’t look Tony in the eyes for a moment, unsure of how to react. He couldn’t understand why, but... “That’s all I ever wanted...”
