Hey everyone, I finished my exams and somehow managed to pass without resits, so i'm back on the drawin' posters scene. This one is going to be great - Trust Fund are my favourite band of 2013, 2014 and forever after, don't miss out if you're around to catch this. Big love to Joy Collective for making cool stuff like this happen.

CONNECTED COMMUNITIES FESTIVAL FRINGE GIG feat. TRUST FUND / TOTEM TERRORS / THE JELAS / GWENNO
As part of the AHRC's Connected Communities Festival, which is happening this year in Cardiff, and in affiliation with the research project Understanding Everyday Participation, this is a free gig to celebrate DIY musical culture in South Wales and the South West. At this gig you will find a zine of thoughts and experiences from some of our fave DIY music bods, a visual map of the interconnections made from this collaborative scene, and - hey - some fine music from some of the best do-it-your-goddamn-self bands either side of the Severn.
The full programme for the Connected Communities Festival is athttp://www.ahrc.ac.uk/Funding-Opportunities/Research-funding/Connected-Communities/Documents/Connected%20Communities%20Programme.pdf, and you can register to attend (for free) at http://ahrc.eazybook.com/ www.everydayparticipation.org http://www.thejoycollective.co.uk/

Reeks of Effort have a stage at Swn 2013 - so excited for this!
We are a UK DIY collective based primarily in Cardiff/Manchester/London/Oxford. Since forming in 2010 we have put out releases by acts such as Joanna Gruesome, Playlounge, King of Cats and Joey Fourr, and put on the likes of Evans The Death, Nai Harvest and Best Friends as well as Reeks of Effort regulars. It’s pretty awesome to get to be involved with Swn, we’ve all been going to gigs they’ve put on since we were 17 or something so it’s like we’re finally getting to hang out with the big kids in the Cardiff scene and get an opportunity to freak out all the squares.
See you there..
