Desendi’s setting is important to me, so this page almost went up late because I was still fiddling with that background! I have some rules over how detailed I can get (I tell myself to keep it messy but readable, actually), but I can still get daunted. I’m still okay with how it turned out, though! 

Anyway, have this week’s question for you webcomic makers and lovers out there: What is the most important thing for you when you try and determine whether or not you want to read a new webcomic? Is it the art? The writing? Characters? I’d like to know!

And as always, if you’re working on a webcomic or know a really cool one I should look at, drop it on me! I’m always looking for new things to read.

Hi everyone! Sorry for kind of neglecting this tumblr, things have been pretty darn busy at my day job and I’ve ended up short on time some days. But I’m figuring out a way to automate a little so it’s easier!

Updates on Wednesdays now! I’m back and excited to get back into drawing this big huge story. Thanks for those who have stuck around even through a (way too long, and also unintentional) hiatus! 

The cart ride is over, but Odessa’s journey continues as she enters the town of Galopon. Cabi-man said she might find answers to the whereabouts of the mising Gohn Guay -- but answers that she might not like.

After a month of inactivity, I am back, and I intend to keep this up. Going to see if I can't get some flatting help for the rest of this chapter! Coming to terms with the fact that a full color comic is kind of hard to do completely alone when you've got a full time job, but I'm determined to find a way to make it work! Even if the pages come a little late, they will come.

I forgot to post an update announcement yesterday when it went up because of a nasty, nasty headcold that pounced on me after a week of me staving it off; constant vigilance, I guess! 

That being said, we've finally come to the end of that fight scene. Oof! I learned a lot working on it, never ever really doing a fight heavy comic before, and I'm very happy with how much I figured out. The point of Desendi was to finally try and make the type of comics that I read when I was a kid and wanted to be a mangaka so fighting is important...that being said, I'm more than excited to get back to dialogue! Hahaha
