I haven’t actually wanted to make one—I just wanted to want to make one.

I still love Sans. I always will. 💜 And I still love Undertale. But I just can’t force a momentum that isn’t there right now. I’m giving myself permission to acknowledge that.

Does that mean that I’ll never make a Sans VN ever again? Well, no. I would like to make another one someday. But that’s not where my heart is today.

Basically in the megalosomnia fan AU game you made a while back I was wondering what dr baggs meant by “by your own desire you’ll leave General Papyrus’ side for mine” was he doing it to get the player to leave his brother alone or…. Was he being somewhat possessive and jealous??? 😭😅

Context for those that didn't know! Yes, One Romantic Date, Hold the Awkward was originally going to have both a Papyrus and a Sans route. The logo originally had a Sans doodle, too.

The routes would have been two separate stories that didn't interfere with each other. But the concept would have been essentially the same.

The player would be going on a date with Sans somewhere (I honestly hadn’t decided where). And Alphys, Undyne, and Papyrus would have been the wingmen over the phone. Alphys would have still given cautious suggestions. Undyne would have still given over-the-top romantic suggestions. The difference would be Papyrus, who would give suggestions that pushed the player to be confident in themselves.

Well, I don't really want to give many details about it. This is something very much in its infancy and I don't feel comfortable putting it out there. (Honestly, I'm still unsure if I'll release it when it's done.)

However, I will say that this is a project for something that inspired me to create again when I was stuck in a creative drought. And in that inspiration, I grew to love deeply. I can only hope my love is palpable in this project. I can only hope my adoration shines through.

In the April Fools Dating Side small VN, In the sans route I was curious about what sans had said to papyrus from behind the door that made papyrus blush so much😶 Do you have any idea what sans would’ve said to Papyrus?

I did actually write dialogue for what they say! I put them as direction notes for the VA (DavetasticDave) so he’d have better context for the scene
