"Hida Iori" he responded. "So what’s with the hat anyway?" ignoring the other’s comment in regards to height and what his interpretation of short was. 

"What exactly do you consider short, I’m 5’8. What’s your name?" Iori asked abrasively.

"I’m a foot taller than you shorty," As if to emphasize his point Taichi placed his hand on Ren’s head. Ruffling his hair through his hat a bit harder than usual due to his put off mood. Taichi was ridiculously tall for someone with Japanese blood. But like he’s gonna question the genes in his jeans, "And careful with your little smart mouth of yours," Taichi noogied Ren’s head so hard that it pushed him down a bit, "God what is it with kid’s trying to be all badass with the talking back now a days." 

"And what? So you a little taller how is that going to help you in anyway. Half of your hight is still thanks to your hair." Lowering his head down with the pressure being put onto him with the other males actions, he raised his arm up to bat the brunettes hand away from himself. His eyes narrowed into a glare as he straightened out his hat once again. " Trying to act tough isn't going to do you any good now. I've seen you loose your cool over a 'silly kids game' as you so claimed it to be earlier."  He cocked his head to the side only slightly as he slipped his hands into the pocked of his hoodie. "But since you are acting like an old man now I suppose that explains a few things."
