He nodded to himself as he formed that thought. He's glad that he didn't burn the body immediately.
Natsuki can only rub the bridge of his nose as he listened to a man whine. With him still on the bed, trying to gain sleep, as he too—is sleep deprived. Just as he was succeeding...his phone rang.

In all honesty, due to their line of work, this shouldn't be a surprise. In fact, working at night is a norm. But Amamiya has been on it with the late nights of going through papers and going on missions afterwards. In that man's case, it's a nearly 20 hours of just work. He specifically told the man to stop just for today.
He remembered him agreeing and letting out a defeated sigh, which he took as a good sign. Apparently, his manipulation tactics are getting even better; him keeping secrets are getting worse.

"Fine...I'll go home. But, can I sleep at your place next time?"
The first thing that popped into Natsuki's head was the question 'why?'; indeed, why?

"Thank you for buying! It's a bit hot today isn't it? A lot of students bought ice cream today~" As the woman handed his change, Dan didn't make any effort to make a small exchange of words. A sweat trailed down his forehead.
