re the 10S musings: I Think koso mourning tiger is the shikigami carrying the technique reversal i.e. light+fire and killing intent. because most if not all of 10S as a technique is centered around medicine, sila, healing and harmony (a power of blessings among curses, if you will). a) makōra is "the destroyer of death" and the protector of the "buddha of medicine" b) madoka is a shikigami reserved Specifically for RCT c) multiple treasures/shikigami being connected to healing, resurrection, resuscitation and a "mourning/funeral" shikigami is a reverse of all of that, but still part of the healing cycle just from a different perspective i.e. exactly what an innate technique reversal is

a little headcanon about the heians: as i said, i think at least a portion of them had some body disfigurements (like angel with wings, six eyes being Literally physical traits), but i think they were able to conceal them, how angel and sukunas mouths and eyes can just pop out in 2018. what i think made sukuna different, is that he couldnt conceal them

tsumiki and megumi are so tragic because theyre the pinnacle of dysfunctional siblings, but they never got the chance to grow up to love each other fully. they were kids who grew up doing each others laundry and tsumiki ordering megumi around how where and when to clean. megumi grew up doing math homework above his grade as a way of saying sorry to tsumiki for fighting and thank you for tsumikis cooking. they grew up doing college grade physics cause gojo explained it for hours and took them to labs and museums and got them books for every science in the world. tsumiki taught megumi the stars and they learned flowers together and gojo took them to planetariums and observatories and astronomical gardens and the highest mountains. they grew up fighting over memories and holidays and fighting each other and gojo together over philosophies. they grew up not knowing anything about each other. they died thinking the other hated them and they didnt do a good enough of a job that was never supposed to be their because they were just kids who had no one but each other their entire lives.

i feel very vindicated about my megumi&kenjaku musings because on top of all the strategizing in the middle of the CG, the very last mission we see the kids on megumi is hyperfocused on outsmarting his opponent, whos just some random guy, and yuuji and nobara call it out (the "a lotta people are dumber than us" bit) to highlight all that

friendly reminder that THE ENTIRETY of ch. 230 and 231 after gojo figured out he was hitting megumis soul with UV was satoru raging at sukuna using megumi. Thats why hana asks if gojo remembers that its megumis body. its a highlight meant to show that in that moment, All satoru is thinking about is murdering sukuna for hurting megumi

i have a thesis/interpretation that the way gojo treats his strongest students currently (hakari, yuuta and yuuji) are his ways of making up for all his mistakes in raising and teaching megumi, down to the very core of making a 6 year old child decide his and his sisters fate on a whim and telling that same 6 year old that he has to surpass the strongest versus shielding all gojos students from the higher ups and clans and saying "no one should be allowed to take youth away from young people"

"your mother wouldnt approve of how my mother raised me" but its wasuke telling yuuji to die surrounded by people, scolding him for sticking around for him instead of making genuine friends because hes a good kid and gojo telling megumi everyone dies alone after a lifetime of training him alone and letting him isolate himself as long as it brings results in sorcery
