Paladin-To-Be, Rin Okumura

Her smirk widens at his words. He should just play along with her or he’s going to get nowhere. “Well, I can’t help you without any offerings, so it seems like you are out of luck." She was really hoping that he would at least give her some kind of snack. Oh well. For the time being she can play with him for awhile and have some fun. 

"Ehhh? What are you anyway, asking for an offering?" He scoffed, turning away. "Can't help it then. Looks like I can't even get home to cook some delicious sukiyaki." He said, hoping that the girl would help him at the mention of food.

Spotting a person or two playing not too far ahead, the blonde giggled softly. Monkey bars were always her downfall, unfortunately. Just as she was about to check her cell phone, a voice called out, and apparently he thought she was someone else. Blinking owlishly, the matchmaker slowly raised a hand, simply to wave back before speaking. “Sorry, I don’t know who you’re talking about…My name is Kamora." 

Rin approached the blonde haired girl who resembled his friend, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. "S-Sorry. I thought you were a friend." He let out a sigh of disappointment. "Yo, I'm Rin! Nice to meet you." He put out his hand to shake.

"Glad you like it!" He grinned, sitting in the chair opposite him. "How've things been?"

She looks up at the male and smirks. It looks like she found someone to play with for awhile. “Kukuku… And what is it you want from me, mortal? You want directions from me? Not going to happen unless I get some kind of offering." How long will it be until he figures out that she’s playing a character.

"Mortal?" Gee, did she think he was a human even with the tail? What a strange girl. He scratched the back of his head. Not that he minded, he didn't like being a demon anyway. "Yeah, directions would be cool though I don't have anything for you." He looked at her mismatched eyes, wondering who she was.

Park

Rin hung from the monkey bars, swinging back and forth. It was his day off from work and here he was, spending it in a park. None of his friends were free and his brother was teaching in the academy. He let out a sigh as he released his grip, landing on the ground gracefully. Turning around, he caught a glimpse of the blonde haired girl. Mistaking her for a friend, he raised an arm, waving frantically. "OIII SHIEMIII! I THOUGHT YOU WERE AT A MISSION!"

Kobato Makes Friends (Hopefully)|| Kobato + Rin

 Rin was separated from the rest of the exorcists and had wandered into a strange garden. He had no idea where the hell he was - and wasn't sure if he wanted to find out. Approaching the strange girl, he tilted his head to a side in curiosity. "Um, hey. I sort of got lost."

The dhampire snickered, “Oh my god. Hasn’t slept? For a damn game console? That’s…. That’s perfect." He wanted to give the other a high five but restrained from doing so so he wouldn’t harm him by his strength.

Rin folded his arms, his head held high in pride. "Uhuh. You'll bet he'll be glad when he sees that." He shrugged. "Can't help the fact that my chairman's an idiot."

“I’m not the one who got the book wet, you son of…” Yukio started angrily and sighed. Moving aside, he ushered his brother into the toilet. 

Rin growled slightly, a habit he had earned since he awakened as a half-demon. He hated it when his brother ruffled his hair - it reminded him that he was shorter than the four eyed bitch. Furrowing his brow, he brushed the other off him. "Lemme go take a shower. If  you don't let me go, I'm gonna take the longest shower ever and make us all late." He threatened.

Rin’s declaration drew forth a laugh. “An exorcist? Those humans at the Vatican won’t let you become one. The very least you’ll become their little pawn until you die.”  He looked at his son with a hash gaze. “Here you’ll be a king;controlling others instead of others controlling you.”

"Tch. I already am an Exorcist, but I'm not gonna stop there. I'm gonna be Paladin, just like the old geezer." His eyes flashed with anger as he continued to look for a place to escape. There had to be one. Rin was a stubborn person and he wouldn't give up until he had his way. 

“Well, you do light up like a rather blue torch,” Izumo pointed out. Her intention wasn’t to be mean but it probably came out so. She huffed and flopped down in a random seat crossing her arms. It was going to be a long ride so she hoped to take a nap.

Rin rolled his eyes at the explanation and folded his arms across his chest. He watched as the girl tried to fall asleep but failed - quite hastily at that. He realized just how long he had known her and was grateful that he had her as a friend. Sure, they had their differences but they were now great friends who knew each others strengths and weaknesses. To be frank, they made quite a good team.
