demo, stray really doesnt want me in his life. im trying to respect his wishes by not being nosy and trying to involve myself in what was probably a work-related incident. to that end i dont think i should be buying him sweets because i think thatd be kind of boundary-crossing, and i dont want to do it anonymously either because thatd be really sneaky when i know he wouldnt want them if he knew they were coming from me, yknow?

i think a snack basket is a good idea though and hes probably going to really appreciate it, especially since hospital food isnt really known for being gourmet. if i can make a suggestion, i remember him liking chocolate in particular, thats the type of cake i made him years ago for his fake birthday, but otherwise im not too sure what his tastes are since he doesnt seem to be very picky. sorry i cant help more with that, but good luck
