"Heeseung!" You shout and wave at him as you walk closer and he gives you a small wave.

"Still sleepy?" You ask as you're now finally stand next to him and he reply with a small nod.

"That math homework had me up all night..." He says clearly agitated."I wasn't really clear with the concepts" he said. "Well then couldn't you have asked your doubts in class to Mrs.Lee?" You questioned him and he looked with that cold stare but you knew he was taken aback by your reply.

"Ask that lady? No way! She would embarrass me infront of everyone. Not that people like me that much...". You can hear the pain in his voice even though he has his patented nonchalant face on. "Hey it's not that people don't like you it's just-" "Good morning (M/N) hyung!" said a junior interrupting your conversation.

"Oh...Good morning." You say plastering on your famous sunshine smile. "Are you feeling good today?" she asks looking up at you. "Never felt better...!" You reply back. You both continue your conversation for while and then she leaves without giving even a small glance towards heesung like he didn't exist.

Then finally turn back to heeseung. To other people it might just look like he couldn't care less about being ignored but you could that it hurt him a lot. "See what I mean? People always talk to you like it's a part of their daily routine but act like I don't even exist or like I'm some kinda pest..."

Just as you were about to comfort him the bell rang signaling the start of class. "Well...guess we better get to class" you say and he just nods. You both walk into class to see the teacher isn't here yet. Just as you were sitting down, next to heeseung who had already sat down someone calls your name while sliding open the door and you immediately know who it is. "(M/N)!" She says as she runs up to hug you. "Hey sakura. Good morning" you say as you hug her back.

It was none other than sakura, your girlfriend, the so called 'queen' of the school. Literally almost all the boys in that school were head over heels for that girl, but sadly she only had eyes for you. Most of the students think that you fell for her first 'cause who wouldn't? She was beautiful,had an 'apple' figure, light brown hair those adorable doe eyes, her amazing grades. Everything about her screamed perfect. In reality, she had confessed to you over insta but no one really knows that so they just assume you asked her out.

She then looked up at you and said, "Won't you sit with me today?~" she said with a pout. It's not like this was the first time she would always ask you the same thing and you almost always gave in but today wasn't one of those days."I'm sorry sakura but...I'm sitting with him today." you say as you sit down next to heeseung. Just as she was about to protest the teacher comes in, so she just walks off to sit next to another girl in your class clearly disappointed.

During class you could tell that heeseung wasn't listening to a single thing the teacher was saying. He just stared blankly probably thinking about what he'll have for lunch or something. Finally the bells rings signaling another class and it was none other than Mrs.Lee's class. The moment she walked in she immediately asked for everyone to submit their homework so she could check them immediately.

"Guess I'm screwed..." whispered heeseung as all the students submit their homework the teacher observes you both just sitting there. "Heeseung and (M/N) where are your homeworks?" Mrs.Lee asks with a stern look. You were about to say something when you hear sakura whisper to you to submit your work and not get in trouble. Normally you would just get yourself punished with heeseung but something about her pleading look made you give in and hand over your homework landing heeseung in detention since he was the only one to not submit his homework.

Heeseung didn't even say anything to you, just stared with that blank look. You obviously felt guilty doing it but you forgot all about it once your girlfriend gave a bright smile like saying 'good job'. After your classes during the lunch break sakura invited you to sit with her leaving heeseung alone cause how could you say no to her adorable face? After lunch you had some more classes where you and sakura sneaked glances at eachother leaving heeseung in his own world. Even though you chose to sit with him for the first time in a while (aka after you started dating sakura) your mind was never focused on him, always drifting off to her. Even when he wanted to talk with you about his problems expecting you to comfort him like you used to, he would notice your attention wasn't on him but on her so he would just stop ranting and sit quietly.

Now, it was the end of school and you were walking with sakura who was glued to your side since heeseung had already left. You both had your usual conversation while walking when you suddenly stumble upon some kids beating some other kid up. Looking closer, you noticed that they were kids from your school and the kid they were beating up was none other than heeseung. One of boys notices you and immediately signals to the others that it's time to run.

"Are you okay?" you ask him helping him up. "I'm alright..." he says cause he had already gotten used to the bullying. "Are you sure-" you try asking again before you're interrupted by a exasperated sakura, "Why're you so worried over him? He's clearly alright." she says her irritation noticeable through her tone. "Sakura don't say that..." you say softly. Heeseung just looks at you with disbelief, "seriously (M/N)...?". "What...?" you ask, a bit taken aback by his question. "Aren't you way to dependent on that bitch?" he says with a disappointed tone. You're shocked by his choice of words, "Don't you dare call her that!" you say shouting at him. He just scoffs and continues, "Well that's what she is, a bitch for the streets-" you don't know when you did it, you don't know why you did it, but before you could even think you heard a smack. You had just slapped him hard across his face leaving his cheek red.

You looked horrified when you realized what you just did and started apologizing over and over, "I'm so so sorry!". Heeseung doesn't even flinch like he was expecting you to do this, waiting for you to finally snap. He doesn't say anything just looks at you and then her then quietly grabs his bag. He pauses for a moment and then says the words you never thought he would say to you, "Forget me." is all he says before leaving but to you it felt like a punch in the gut. This couldn't be happening, you've been friends for as long as you could remember but he just ended it that easily? "He didn't deserve you anyway, he was clearly just using your kindness." she says before tugging on your sleeve "C'mon let's go. If I get home late my parents will be really mad". You don't even think about it anymore, you can't think about it anymore because you know you'll start crying right then and there if you do.

At night while you were lying down, you finally couldn't control it anymore, you broke down right there on your bed. You couldn't believe all those years of friendship, ended in just the blink of an eye. You didn't even realize it but slowly drifted off to sleep still crying, still thinking about your friendship, thinking about him.
