while pv was truthless living in the spire he found a spellbook with a spell that said it can ‘pacify’ an enemy when cast (u can figure out the specifics of the wording idk bout that) but pv assumes it means it can like take away their powers or something. everything else proceeds as normal until smilk rejects awakened pv’s offer of friendship; after that he hits smilk with the spell he learned and as a shock to him, brave gang, & the deceit siblings that just arrived smilk is COMPLETELY VAPORIZED. D:. pv is 1. in shock. 2. super guilty. while everyone else is also freaking out (deceit siblings kinda just go like :0 until they collect em selves n swear revenge while the brave gang is a mix of relief, confusion n concern. they go home, but when pv goes to his room he hears smilk (trying to play light of truth again) calls smilk out, & realizes that smilk is alive but living in between dimensions (can’t affect anything n can only be heard or seen by pv since he casted the spell). this is a bad arrangement 4 both i em so they agree 2 figure out how 2 bring smilk back without the spire of knowledge & grow closer (its broken if u don’t remember). hijinks insue. also in the ending white lily is brought into this, they free him, smilk tries to crumble both o them but pv doesn’t move, knowing that after all this time together smilk couldn’t rlly hurt him, he’s right, they hug, white lily (both cause o duty n her not trusting smilk) uses the tree sealing spell (idk where she found figure jt out ig) but pv blocks it w/ himself, getting trapped in the tree instead o smilk, smilk crash out, everyone learns whats been happening, they figure out how 2 free pv, smilk runs away saying that they’re meant to be apart cause o their soul jams (fount becoming the cookie of deceit causing his soul jam to split in the first place, the spire incident, what just happened to pv n him) n pv counters that 4 every time they’ve been separated they’ve come back together, he accepts pv’s friendship, & everyone live happily ever after
this WILL take me a while, on count of remembering/revisting chapter 8's story, ANNDDD learning how to write white lily & gingerbrave and ensemble again, but SUREE!
