Hanahaki disease is a psychosomatic illness. It's a thing that your body does in response to stress over constantly repressing/concealing your feelings in settings with high background magic. It's like you've been ignoring pain for a long time and suddenly your vision starts going dark, because your affected body is just YANKING on random alerts trying to get you to PAY ATTENTION there is a PROBLEM. Yes the flowers do really exist. So do non-magical psychosomatic symptoms. The flowers aren't special.

This does of course open up the trope to options for non-romantic concealed feelings. Which I think is great. There is something viscerally satisfying about the person who seems so outwardly chipper coughing and hacking and spitting up Depression Flowers so now everyone has to know they're hurting. Isn't there?

Finally found decent places in my Minecraft world to build the TF2 bases, but idk yet where to build the other locations. The badlands I’ve decided on is large enough and I have a map for reference, but there’s a lot of water in the middle of it and no gravel biome nearby, so worst case scenario I either gotta level some plateaus or the Hale River’s gotta be mannmade and with no Gravel Sea.

#I’ve decided for ease to build these in Creative and return to Survival when I’m done #I was gonna build Teufort in Survival but the badlands near spawn was too small for everything so I moved #unfortunately the largest nearby badlands is like. miles away. so I have to either fly or tp to move everything to the new location #then after I’m done I’ll build rails for easy travel between locations and spawn #the other only unfortunate thing is there’s a jungle separating the badlands and tundra #which is great for supplies but not really location-accurate #it’ll be fine #though technically the pillager outpost near BLU Base might end up being a problem idk yet #minecraft #tf2 #team fortress 2
