As a big fan of Hannibal and an art historian, I’ve always been intrigued by this castle that we can see as the Lecter family’s castle in season three. So I did some research, and I found out that it is actually this castle : château de Noisy (or château Miranda) in Belgium.

And I also found out that this castle was abandonned since 1991, and that it is now threatened to be destroyed (Wikipedia even says that the castle has actually been destroyed in October 2017, but I couldn’t find any proof of it).

Day 5: 

I tried offering Hannibal a patient to get his mind off Will. That did not go well at all. RIP StayPuft, you were delicious.

Unbetaed.  At this point I just want to get it up and posted.

Mycroft gets an emergency phone call from John and cause leads to affect and affect leads to knowledge.

Mycroft’s mobile rung at two-thirty in the morning, just as he closed his laptop.  He looked down at it, sitting its precise distance from the edge of his laptop, just before his work mobile.  It didn’t alarm him to receive a call so early in the morning, he often received calls at all hours.  The empty space above the answer icon did alarm him however, he only saw that non-number in relation to a single person.

“Dr. Watson?”  Tucking the phone between shoulder and ear, he picked up his work mobile to text the necessary parties.

“I need immediate medical assistance.”  The tight authoritative command in his voice only served to alarm Mycroft further.  Muffled by the press between John’s shoulder and chin, he could still hear ragged, rapid action in the background.  The puff of breathing of someone man handing someone else.  A rip, a tear, a jagged chasm of a gasp, the wrong tone for John’s voice.  “Cooper Heights flats.  We’re on the roof.”

Election day is TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8th

I would HIGHLY recommend bringing two forms of ID [a gov. i.e. your license or photo ID AND your voter ID] with you to poll. Some states have voter ID laws, and in other states you need your ID if it’s your first time voting  at that particular location.

Avoid any trouble, don’t wear any pins, tshirts, etc. for a particular candidates. Some areas consider it passive electioneering.

You CAN NOT vote via text, online, etc. Anyone advertising otherwise is lying.

The only person to ask you for your ID should be the individual working the polls sitting at a table inside the building in question. If anyone else asks you for your ID or gives you a hard time, they have no authority to do so and should be avoided.

You CAN NOT take a photo of your ballot/voting machine/etc. Take a cute photo with your “I Voted” sticker after and call it a day.

Hello again, fellow bloggers!

As I mentioned in my introductory post, I am offering to write fan fiction AUs and crossovers, original ideas that you can’t seem to summon to life, and additionally, I am game for any editing assistance or general writing guidance you may need.

Have a novel that needs looking over? Can’t seem to nail certain scenes? Fret not; allow your friendly neighborhood English major to help.

In regards to the fan fiction AUs and crossovers, my primary fandoms are Hannibal, Penny Dreadful, and Orphan Black. Secondary fandoms include iZombie, Wynonna Earp, The Exorcist, and Supernatural. I am not practiced in writing for these secondary fandoms, but I am willing to try if you bring me an idea I can really run with. Please don’t be afraid to ask.

At the moment, I am not offering to do stories longer than 8k, but if the muse bites, I may negotiate as we go. I thoroughly enjoy writing AUs and crossovers. I love throwing beloved characters into new, strange, and unnerving situations and seeing how they react. How they evolve, taking both writer and reader by surprise as characters can be as unpredictable as any of us. In fact, the same can be said for any piece I compose whether it is fan fiction or an original.

I love writing anything that transcends and inspires in all forms of the craft. Generally, I write smut-free as my interests linger elsewhere, but, I do enjoy writing sensual content (i.e. make-out scenes).

Details of any story you commission me for can be discussed and tailored accordingly. I take pride in my craft and therefore, put my heart and soul into every written creation.

What I will NOT write: Rape, non-con, incest, animal abuse, graphic suicide, domestic abuse/abuse in general, A/B/O, humiliation, porn without plot, porn with plot, plot with porn, graphic self-injury, and sexual violence (unless it’s something like knife play).

My triggers include: Abuse, graphic or generally detailed suicide and self-injury.

My favorite OTPs are Hannigram, Marlana, Ethanessa, Cophine.

Prices are as follows:

Drabbles consisting of 500 words: $5. Drabbles will be written on a weekly basis. I am offering to take up to 3-5 drabble requests per week. This request limit may change as I get into the flow of things.

$20 per 1,000 words. I am offering to take up to 2-4 of these per week, depending on the overall length of your story and the agreed upon deadline. (I’m new to the commissions world, so be gentle. Be nice. No rude partnerships will be accepted or tolerated.)

* If you pay me $40, you will be getting a 2,000 word story, give or take 300 words each way.*

While story length is negotiable, pay is not. As any working professional, I take pride in my work. I give my work my heart, and therefore, will put in the allotted dedicated time and effort into making your story perfect for you. This being said, I will be rather strict on the word count in relation to the pay. Payments may have to be made upfront, and can be delivered via PayPal.

Each drabble and story (if fan fiction) will be posted on AO3, once completed, unless you wish for the piece to remain private. In that case, I can email you your story, or if you prefer another option, we will work something out.

Editing services are available upon request. I am offering to do mainly context and line edits/general edits. As for any other general guidance you may need, I am fairly flexible. Standard rate for these services are $20 per 2,000 words (give or take 500 words each way).

Also, and SUPER IMPORTANT, when it comes to fan fiction, I do NOT claim any series character or canonical information as my own. Any commissioned fan fiction will be transformative and largely canon-divergent in terms of plot, hence why I keep specifying AUs and crossovers.**

HANNIBAL REWATCH: NOW WITH SCRIPT SNIPPETS!

On our first round of rewatches on Twitter, I decided to spice up the experience by screencapping deleted & altered dialogue, descriptions of visual effects and other interesting bits from the scripts, and tweeting them so that people could follow, in real time, both the script (in tiny bite size snippets) and the show. I was overwhelmed by the support people showed my project, and I promised I’d do the same on round 2 as well. I also thought I should start posting the screencaps here too for easy reference, since things get lost on Twitter quite easily.

Now, I know people have been going through the scripts quite a lot already, but my aim is to gather every single interesting bit, no matter how small (could be just one line!) in one post for each episode (which means the posts will get pretty long, sorry about that). Also, it’s sometimes unclear if the cuts were made because of time constraints or because they thought the episode would be better without them, so I guess it’s up to you if you want to consider those canon or not.

A yoga mat??? I guess I’m glad they changed that…!

This description actually sounds pretty hilarious. I think we never did get to see people reacting to Will doing his thing besides Jack (correct me if I’m wrong). I also kind of assumed Will is not physically doing everything when he’s reenacting the crimes, but instead seeing things inside his head..?
