Of course I’ll hurt you. Of course you’ll hurt me. Of course we will hurt each other. But this is the very condition of existence. To become spring, means accepting the risk of winter. To become presence, means accepting the risk of absence.

I will not tell you I miss you.  You will not hear that from me, no.  I will not admit I have been thinking about you, 
not out of resentment towards you, 
but because I am strong and you are in the past.  I will not tell others about you, 
since you tell no one of us.  I will not explain myself, 
for the ways I chose to distance myself 
from memories of you, 
for sucking others dry 
attempting to hurt you 
but you were too far away 
to be damaged.  I will not question why you left, 
you have done me a favor, 
even if it doesn’t feel like one right now. I will not look for an explanation from you,  on why you did the things you did,  I do not have an interest in justifying your actions.

You are going to date a few cowards before you meet someone brave enough to love you

Try to love yourself as much as you want someone else to.
