As Iβm closing in on my 10th day, I feel like Iβm somewhat recovered. Although my symptoms were always just mild, thereβs no way that even after tomorrow that Iβll feel recovered enough to go back to work. As I did some chores today, I realised how the simple action to just walk or wipe anything gets me tired and a little out of breath.Β
Oh and not sure If Iβm imagining this, but I think I can faintly taste that vanilla in my protein drink. kek
Still about the same today, still with body pain when I wake up. I guess the inflammation of my lungs is getting worse, but again still no actual coughing happening around here. But a little update would be that I can faintly smell my lotion, and body sprays. Thereβs also this sensation that came with losing my sense of smell where I feel like Iβm inhaling something really strong. Quite weird, Iβve never experienced anything like this before.Β
I feel like I just wake up with body pain every morning now. Not much change today. Still having that strange feeling of needing to cough when I take deep breaths, but no actual cough as of now.

Today I woke up feeling a little tired, and cold. Nothing APAP couldnβt quite literally, instantly fix. My sense of taste and smell have absolutely disappeared. It rained a little, and I want to say I smelled??? I smelled the freshness that comes with. Everything I ate today tasted like water, but other than that my symptoms remain:
Today was the day I lost my sense of taste. I had my coffee in the morning which was good, but I noticed it had tasted a little different but I thoughtΒ βhm what If I just made it differently todayβ So I went on with my day. I had ordered for food, a super burrito with orange sauce from La Vicβs, and it tasted okay? A bit dry I thought. After my mid day nap, i decided I wanted a cool coffee cup, but when i began drinking it, it only tasted like milk. No coffee. I was only able to faintly smell the lysol wipes, and fabric softener sheets that I used to think smelled too strong. So i guess thatβs the big change for today.
I feel sick. Thereβs no doubt, that I do. Like a type of ill I canβt go on to describe. Is it a cold? Allergies maybe? I also havenβt been able to fully enjoy a meal. I would be excited to eat when I prepare my food but when I begin to eat, I become full soon after. I can still taste it, and at first the food would taste really good but as I eat more the less satisfying it is.
Symptoms:
Mild headache
Clogged nose
Feeling of sneezing without the satisfaction of sneezing.
I realise I should be counting my days, so I guess Iβll start with that today.
I woke up today feeling okay, a little more on the tired side as I had trouble sleeping last night. Just classic insomnia. I still have this persistent headache, but other than that I felt a little close to normal today. My temperature remained below 99, no chills noted. But as expected, Iβm developing a back pain located on my left mid back. Feels a lot like a cramp for now.

Just thought to keep noted and what not. Ignore my poor writing, as the only time I really write is when I document at work.
Anywhom, on this day I tested positive for covid. It didnβt really come as a surprise to me considering how poorly organized my facility is and how we werenβt really equipped to handle such an outbreak, so here I am. Just wanted to take notes of the symptoms I have and what not.
So on 30 Dec 2020 I woke up feeling okay, quite normal although a little earlier than I usually do. When I got to work I parked, and donned as usually. I clocked in and started labeling specimen bottles. After a few bottles in, I started feeling chilly. Next to me was Ate Dina, I mentioned to her that I was feeling cold when she pointed out that Ate Joyce had the AC turned on because they were feeling hot in their hazard suits. So I thought nothing of it and went to put on my jacket under my gown. I continued with the specimen bottles when I noticed I was still cold and feeling a bit of aching. So right away I took a rapid test where the results were still negative. I went about my day, did my treatments making sure I was donned properly so as to not spread If I were indeed positive. DON informed me there was an admission for me to do. I drank some soup, and ate some onigiri, took some ibuprofen so I can finish the job and go home. After finishing my admission I realize that the ibuprofen helped. My chills and aches went away. I went on to do my PCR, as well as a rapid which showed a negative result. I went home and slept it off. Upon waking up the next morning I felt it. Something was wrong. I felt cold, like chills. body ache like symptoms of a fever. I immediately took a rapid test I was saving for emergencies and at first It looked like one line. After the 15 minutes was up I noticed a second line formed at the bottom of the strip. After waiting for more a very faint line formed below the first line. I looked through my trash for a previous strip for comparison and for confirmation. I then informed my facility and was instructed to go there to rapid test again and to spread the virus to my peers there, where the result was indeed positive. I went home and realised this:
My symptoms they included:
Increase in my temperature
Body aches
Chills
Dizziness
Chest pain upon inhaling
Increased fatigue
I took a couple of naps, I just felt like I was so tired and that as soon as I laid down I just fell asleep.Β
