in finnish, the '@' symbol is sometimes referred to as 'kissanhnta' [cat's tail] or 'miau', 'miau merkki' [meow marks]. in the pokemon universe, i thought it might be cute if the '@' symbol were called 'the mew' or 'mew symbol'

regional dialects make it difficult to share 'mewsernames'!

The best characters are Felix and Dorothea. Honorable mentions to Lorenz, Linhardt, and Annette.

"Worst" character is a really tight contest.

Most of the cast of Three Houses fits into the "OKAY CONCEPT, MISERABLE EXECUTION" category, but I'd say Catherine, Cyril, Flayn are all just flatly terrible and shouldn't be in the game at all. Their inclusion makes everything worse and they don't have a single moment where their existence matters or contributes to the world building or any character dynamic in a positive way.

If I can only pick one, I'm gonna go with Cyril.

Cyril is a child PoW indoctrinated into a cult at a young age. Not to point out the obvious, but he sure is one of the three "foreign" playable characters with a darker skin tone, all of whom are subservient and/or literal prisoners of war in some way (don't get me started on Petra).

Every support Cyril has is a waste of time because it's just characters going "Hey Cyril, maybe you shouldn't be so into this cult", including other characters in said cult, but none of them go anywhere because his entire personality is being in the cult. So he's not allowed to learn anything or grow, because if that happens it doesn't make sense when Rhea fields him and asks him to die for her twice.
