WANDERLUST — A BAKUDEKU ZINE — CONTRIBUTOR APPLICATIONS

Sorry for the temporary delay everyone! Now, without further ado, we’re happy to announce that contributor applications are now open!

Wanderlust is a for-profit BakuDeku fanzine revolving around the animated series’ second ending theme だってアタシのヒーロー or Datte Atashi no Hero, set in a fairytale fantasy world where Midoriya Izuku is an adventurer and Bakugō Katsuki is a travelling barbarian.

We are open to artists, writers, and merchandise artists. Make sure that you’ve read our information and updated guidelines before sending a form! There may be some information you need to know. Please apply before January 12th!

Izuku’s Home for Wayward Pets by glamour_weeb  ( E | 34,098+ | 8/? )

Izuku works at the Bureau of Companion Protection as a rehabilitator for abused and abandoned Companions, animal-human hybrids. He’s seen his fair share of cruelty cases and even fostered a few Companions, but he’s never had a Companion of his own, until now. After rescuing Katsuki from a life in an illegal, underground Companion fighting ring, Izuku must take in the wolfdog that no one else can handle.

Eventually, Katsuki comes to love his new home, as well as his new Master.

Reasons for Nomination: I ain’t gonna lie about the fact that I’m completely bias and obessed with hybrids. Because I am, like I fell deep into this rabbit hole of fluff, soft, squishy, A/B/O  and animal parts. And I refuse to come back out.  I love hybrids as much as I love Bakudeku. You attached animal parts to these men and I’m addicted. I need more and more fics. Now, for Wayward Pets. This fic and alongside another I’m absolutely in love with. Author can I have your fic’s hand in marriage? The growth, the protectiveness and the bonding between Deku and Kacchan is such a sweet and warm burn against my heart. Every step Bakugou takes to recovery, is me shouting “Yes! Yes!” Cheering him on, every chapter. Author thank you so much for this fic. You have given me life and something to look forward to with every update <3 }

Reasons for Nomination: So very well written in this fic we deal with the feelings of Katsuki, Inko and Toshinori while Izuku is on a coma. The angst is delicious here and the development so far is great, including slowly other characters and their dynamics. The triggering issues are well treated and we get to see a more human side of Katsuki. Inlove with it so far. }

Reasons for Nomination: It’s been awhile since I’ve read something so descriptive and poetic. It’s super feely and hits you in all the right places. It truly felt like I was watching a movie instead of reading a fic. The emotions are amazing, the mystical elements (that I don’t want to just give away) are engaging, and I truly think everyone should be reading this. }

The content of this zine will centre around the relationship of BNHA’s two main characters: Midoriya Izuku and Bakugou Katsuki. Hopefully, it will be set in a fantasy universe, namely after the animated series’ third ending theme だってアタシのヒーロー。(or Datte Atashi no Hero); however, there is an option for something different if you so express that interest. However, that’s not all!

Moderator applications are also open! If you are interested in modding this zine, please fill out this form as well. As you fill it out, remember to read the instructions and notes! Only four or five people will be given the role, so it’s going to be very competitive.

HI, I’M BROKE!

well, actually, my name is Maj and you’re watching disney channel i’m in a bit of a bind. i’m a full-time student working on two degrees and that crazy course schedule means my work options are limited! i have a holiday season job i’ll be able to stockpile at once the semester is over, but that’s still a bit away and bills are due… uh… now.

rent’s expensive close to campus and electric/internet are musts, which eats into my food budget, which means i go to my savings for paying tuition, and on and on like that. it’s unsustainable. and of course, mi abuelita has decided to visit from california for the holidays!! i love her, i can’t wait to see her, i am barely a functioning adult and need to be able to help my family with the extra expenses this christmas.

my one talent? writing. it’s BOTH of my degrees, that’s how much it’s My Jam! this is EXCELLENT news for you, because, as you can clearly see, i’m opening COMMISSIONS!!

i’ve got a page that breaks it all down for you, but here it is TL;DR.

there are two options: ko-fi and paypal. ko-fi comms cap at $30 (10 coffees = 3000+ words*), paypal will be used for anything higher since that’s a Lot Of Words.
