Darerd/Dekshuduph

Over the summer I've been reading Fallout: Equestria and substories on Google Docs and FIMFiction.  The original is 600k long, PH is 1,100k long, PE is 100k, H is 400k, and M#7 is 700k.  These measurements are in words, of course.  If you add this up, this equals about two copies of the Harry Potter series and a little bit more.  This was in only a few months!

Don't get the wrong idea, though, I'm not wasting time; previously I would have spent this time on video games, an even more horrendous waste of time.  When reading fanfiction, I've decided, I get to learn some interesting stuff.  Here's my favorite of it.  (Spoiler warning, whatever the hell that means to any followers I have.)

Two sides failed to come to terms with one another, withholding information vital to the well-being of an alliance.  Distrust arose, and both sides became angry.  Each was afraid of what the other might be able to do, so worked to increase their own ability in order to come out on top.  This is called hypocrisy, children, but many label it with the more common term 'war'.  The doomsday came when pressures built to their climax, and neither side won in the end; everyone died.

Wallkirk lost his city to the apocalypse, but he wouldn't let the upcoming gangs destroy the city fighting for control over it.  He had power over a few droids, and with them he distributed power equally to each of four gangs.  This works great as a governmental system because no gang could think of overtaking the other three, usurption would be impossible.  Politics win out when it comes to power.

Evil is the justification of the wrongs one commits for a greater right.  Red Eye wanted to create a better world by forcing the current generation into slavery so that the next could prosper in better living conditions.  He never took heed to the fact that he would be disrespected and eventually overcome by the ones who sought better living conditions.
