like yes okay i can concede that silverbolt and motormaster are an interesting dynamic to play with HOWEVER. too often it feels like megop 2.0. and not even the fun kind of megop where things are actually complicated between them

absolute barebones i see it like this. ok.

with combiners, team cohesion is key to everything. menasor is a known disaster who can barely function, while superion is almost oppressively good at holding himself together. theyre their own people, but theyre also representative of the teams that form them.

silverbolt is respected by his team, motormaster is not. this reflects how they treat their teammates. is motormaster envious of the respect silverbolt is given, or does he think its pathetic that he lets them talk back at him? is silverbolt disgusted by how hard motormaster comes down on the stunticons, or does he pity them because what other choice do they have when the stunticons only example of social heirarchies is the "might makes right" decepticon one?

the stunticons (and motormaster especially) were made to oppose all autobots. the aerialbots (and therefor silverbolt) were made in response to the stunticons creation. only one side is truly the others rival. isnt that fun? isnt that fun to play around with? dont you want to play dolls a little?
